I was exaggerating for the most part.

I know what you are saying, graf was invented in the US, but that doesn't mean there are not any highly skilled artists out there, only in the US, that would be silly.

Use soccer for example, shit was invented in England but they suck dick at it and now the whole world are experts. They had the same mentality of 'fuck you don't tell us about soccer, you don't know shit we will rape you' kind of stuff and didn't participate in the world cup till later.
i hear you bro I'm just saying somethings are like rooted in a culture...I feel Hip hop not just rapping, is tied to American soil, sort of like jazz.

started gettin disillusioned with paintin only in pits under freeways, or seeing shit get buffed in four hours when u hit downtown or the freeway..
wheatpaste shit stays up forever.

@Dhadnot: I fully respect America as the "inventor" of modern graffiti. When i said "ask a trainwriter" i wasn't even particularly talking about Europeans, Yes, we took over most of the American influences at an early stage, but we have also developed and added our own individual touches (which is basically how graffiti evolves every day all over the world, especially ever since the internet). I wouldn't be surprised if many American writers nowadays are also partly influenced by European graffiti (and vice versa of course), because nowadays you don't have to live in a certain city to be influence by a certain style. I don't even hate on Banksy, but ask ANY trainwriter what he thinks about "streetart" and you will know what i mean.

Painting a quick chrome piece downtown in 5 minutes > putting up a sticker or stencil in a heartbeat. Where is the thrill in this?

Besides, neither grapes nor I represent the entire graff scene from either Europe or the US.

Exactly. You're scared. You want me to fly down to San Diego and wipe your faggy stickers off the streets, instead? This internet shit is all we have right now. Put your skills where your mouth is, you fuckin racoon.

I say gas one gives us a word and we both have a week to come up with some shit. Then let the siccness decide who wins. Loser leaves the Siccness FOREVER. If you don't have the time or balls to make a sketch or paint a quick wall to back up your shit talking then SHUT THE FUCK UP and print some more stickers.

Around here wheatpaste and stencils used to be primarily the grounds of commies/anarchists. Spray cans were for the hip hop kids and the skaters.

Not usually, but since the guy who is shit talking to me is claiming to be black, i had to make those adjustments! If i made the guy white or yellow, the entire correlation to grapes wouldn't work out, you know. Could have been any other guy talking shit, and i would have hung a white or yellow guy from a tree. It's nothing. Plus, it fitted well on the book cover! So yeah..No offense to the black community.

I like how you drew big red lips on that black person hanging from the tree dali. I can tell now that you are a great graffiti artist by the skill you just portrayed in that racist picture.
