He'll probably be a 5th or 6th round draft pick. These other kats are sure fire 1st rounders who are as fast as Berrian, but have 5 or 6 inches on him and run just as fast as him.
CZAR said:
Actually Berrian could go in the 3rd round, but still u hit it on the nose bam!! Realize!! GOT EM!!
Now you guys killed it. LMAO @ 5th - 6th round. Bernard Berrian (barring any injury) will be picked in the first round of the NFL draft, I gaurentee it fellas. Im not lookin' for any tickets, fuck all your guys' ramblings.

http://www.houstonprofootball.com/draft/prospects/berrian.html

"The Texans currently have able bodies in the return game, but Berrian could be Houston's returner of the future if he is their selection on draft day. According to an article in the Fresno Bee in November 2001, Berrian has already grabbed the attention of GM Charley Casserly.

The question could become where in the 2003 draft Berrian will be taken. He has the talent of a top ten pick, but with less of a spotlight on the post-Carr Fresno State program this year, Berrian may also slip to the second round, too."

Again u can keep liein on me to try to make yourself look good, but I wasnt even on here at the time!! So try again! Now if u have proof, then thats anotha story!! I could give a fuck about either Harrington or Carr!!! I dont like either of them!! And as for the 5th or 6th round, I didnt say that, I actually said 3rd round, but I must admit, that these days recievers go in bunches and some go real high!! Like my boy B. Johnson from Penn St. he went in the 1st round and I didnt think so, so after thinkin about it, Berrian could go in the 1st round, but still he aint no where near the best reciever in college!! Here are some guys that are for sure bettr than Berrian!!

1. Roy Williams
2. Reggie Williams
3. R. Woods
4. M. Williams

Berrian maybe 5th, Im not sure yet, but those 4 are definitely better than him!! GOT EM!!!

Good shit CZAR, atleast you can spot talent. Im just lettin' folks know about my boy Berrian, dude is fuckin' dangerous. Perhaps not the best in the nation, but he is a top 5 receiver, and thats no joke. We'll see how he does when they get their starting quaterback (Pinegar) back. Did you watch any of the game? If you did, you gotta admit Jeff Grady couldn't hit anything past 10 yards out. Pure garbage.

FIND A SINGLE PUBLICATION,OR CREDIBLE SOURCE THAT HAS HIM IN THE TOP 5,SHIT EVEN 10.
There arn't any, thats why im on here talking about him. If everyone knew he was amongst the best, then I wouldn't need to go to great lengths to wake people up.

BAMMER said:
HE DID'NT DO JACK SHIT IN GAME 1.
Your right he didn't do jack, neither did his starting quaterback, because he was hurt stupid.

TOTAL YDS.....LMMFAO
Yes, the last season he completed, he lead the NATION in total yards. Not many receivers have the ability to return kicks and punts like he can. The total yards, creating this great utility player, is what makes his game so great. If you take him and match his numbers up with other receivers, they are not much different. Throw in the fact that he's a deadly weapon returning kicks/punts, and that is what is gonig to seperate him from the rest. These are fundamentals, maybe some day ill run you through the basics of sports knowledge, then you can actually say something usefull on these threads.

5th - 6th round... LMMFAO!

There went your credibility.

It irks me that you think you are so up on game when reality is that you are sitting under the bleachers. You obviously have never played the game & no matter how tight you might be at Tecmo Bowl, it doesn't give any credibility to your statements.

Returning punts & kicks in college is nowhere near as "special" as doing it in the pros. In college you have 3rd & 4th string redshirt freshmen covering punts & kicks but in THE LEAGUE you have true SPECIALISTS...guys that are 240lbs running 4.5 40's. Unless he gets off like Kevin Williams did when he was a Hurricaine that will not be his ticket to the pros. It helps yes but it doesn't seperate from anyone if your receiving yards against top schools isn't up to par. Just some food for thought.

LISTEN UP!!!

Tell'em Maja!!!!!!!I can't imagine what the press here would say if the Huskies were to risk injury to Reggie Williams by having him return punts and kickoffs LOL.That stat is a non-factor.Like you said,at BIG-TIME programs there is more than one guy who is capable of returning kicks. This guy!

Tecmo Bowl....HAHAHAHA REAL SQUAK!!

Im not saying he is the best because he can return kicks and punts, im throwing that in as an added bonus. If your arguements are to say that he is not the best wide receiver in the nation, then so be it, ill give you that. I honestly believe he is amonst the VERY BEST of receivers in the nation, regardless. Sure you have much better players after you on returns then in the pro's, but who do you think you have protecting you? Third string college players? Do your homework. Nothing any of you have said has proven any of my statements false. Don't believe what I say, ask Mel Kiper, or any ESPN analyst.

Folks are you SERIOUS? How successful was Mel Kiper as a PRO football player anyway? The guy gets paid to form OPINIONS just like any other ANALYST and lets toss all of our favorite all-time armchair qb greats in too. Hell if I had his hair-do & chrome pen I might just be on ESPN mayn....c'mon.

& Sorry to bust your bubble (yet again) but a lot of colleges use 1st & 2nd stringers to form "the wall" on PRs. On kick returns their main focus is pretty much just having any willing group of idiots forming a lane for the guy who runs a 4.4 by getting in the kick coverage's way. Folks you have no clue. I returned punts and kick returns since I was knee high...please don't have me dust off my old PAL football playbook & run a 26 crossbuck on your whole cranium...LMAO.

You started with a few "stripes" but the more you post the less knowledgable you appear bro.

Why are you talking about nothing but kick and punt returns? Did I not just tell you I threw that in as an added bonus, now your structuring your entire arguement around it? Then your going to criticize Mel Kiper like he doesnt know his football? He gets paid to STUDY and ANALIZE every football player and every team in college down to the hair. You probably played a couple of years on a pop warner team never seeing any time on the field, now you think you know the ins and outs of the game. Do yourself a favor, box up your old pee-wee trophies and just let the memories go, you obviously failed in whatever it is you thought you were good at.

This started as me telling people how good Berrian is, not only did you initially agree that he was a solid player, but now you've gone to great lengths to somehow tell me im wrong? Either you agree or you don't, leave the zebra talk at home.
