Yeah, some cats is probably going to hate on this post real quick what wit that other thread right now saying not to speak on any East Coast acts (lol).....

I got like 1,500 CD's, over 50% Bay and West Coast, and please believe it takes a lot for me to start proppin an East Coast CD, but..................

On this occasion I can't let this lie and not tip some people about this shit... the new Bumpy Knuckles (aka Freddie Foxxx) CD is hard as hell. I mean that shit just bumps.

Normally only Bay CD's get regular rotation in my player, the rest just gets stacked up after a few plays but this CD is hard as fuck.

And I don't mean like some gay ass DMX or something, this dude it spittin fiercer than ever, I can listen to this shit in the mix with cats like C-Bo and Tay.

Bumpy got four or five slumps on the CD, production ain't big apart from a couple of DJ Premier cuts, but the other dudes on the boards is raw.

He rips one track that has a beat with a Rick Rock feel, comes hard on several other nasty beats, and he even spits over that 'intimate connection' break ya know from 'California Love'.

Now watch some fool reply wit 'Fuck East Coast' or say dude is a 2pac biter or something. Just peepin you on a tight ass CD that has dropped, don't be mad.... :dead:

Did you steal my post???
Ha ha... naa cuzz, I didn't even see your post but great minds think alike ya know!!

To me it's one of the best albums of 2003 along with Lynch.... hard as hell.

And way better than the album Bumpy put out a couple of years back on Landspeed.

That was aiiight, but the production was too soft and didnt do his delivery no favours. This one is bumpin.

Although he did have one line in that last album a few years back which was pure comedy:

"I'm sick of Nore and all this 'what what what' / Write some rhymes n***a or give this shit up up up"

Bumpy is sick on the mic, one of the few I can listen to like I listen to C-Bo and Killa Tay and Guce and cats like that.

You best ta check the new one then cuzzin, he's stompin on everyone on this one, harder beats and more funk too.

He got one line, I forget exactly how it goes but he's rippin on every emcee who ain't independent with a play on words about 'their masters' (them not owning their music and being slaves) and he pretty much ballin people out on a grip of tracks.

Album is hard as hell... nicer than Industry Shakedown to me, definately more accessible to west coast cats, beats are harder and funkier, Industry Shakedown was nice but in a plain old East Coast way....
