the funniest thing is that people that always speak dirty on him are the ones who know the least about him and his situation. people who sit back behind their computers and say bash is soft and he's this and that and that he sold out bla bla bla. bash will be quick to step to ANYBODY who really got something to say about him or his music and what he's doing to put food on the table for his family. people need to realize that you gotta grow the fuck up, you can't do dope dealin mob shit your whole life, u aint gonna go nowhere, he did what he had to do to go beyond the confines of the bay, does that mean he doesn't have total and complete love for Northern Cali, no, not in the least, Bash loves the Bay, and pumps it and represents it WHEREVER he goes, he has told me many times about using Bay slang all over the country, wearing Mac Dre shirts in places where people never heard of Dre, and how people love him for it. don't ever forget, Bash is a street dude, he's just doing what he has to do to get in where he fits in, and if you really knew what his label wants to do to him to make him really blow up, in a pop star way, you'd hate universal and love bash for being a sav and staying about his, but i aint gonna put that business out there, just know that bash is cool as fuck and respected by the bay and beyond, and to reiterate the main point, the people who speak negative are the people who know the least about him.

well in my honest opinion, i would say me and alot of my peers have lost MAJOR respect for baby bash or beesh or whatever his name is, now u can say ima " hater" but its true, he sold out. - reason being, he signed too do his music right? but is he doin the same type of music? NO! he's doing duets w/ natalie and all theese other reggaeton latin bitch artists. - i aint hating, cuz energy is a dope song for the 15 yr old females in san jose and hayward and the rest of that audience.... i think he lost alot of credibillity in the bay cuz of this... its funny this thread comes up cuz i was thinking why people hate on him, - it be like me saying ok, i got 95live.com. i own it and yeah and say i get bought out and i gotta play nothin but commercial/hollywood music, same shit what happend too KMEL back in the Mid 90s. - plain and simple he sold out, he might be reppin the bay and all. but IN MY OPINION kat sold out. - i meen shit, he's rich, and he even might have some songs with mac dre, jaytee and bay vets. - but at the end of the day he sold out, and THATS why people dont like what he has done.

I think for a bay artists too really get recognized, they need too be commercial and be all on this mtv shit w/ bay style, meaning if keak gets signed too Asylum records ( example) i wanna see keak on mtv thizzin, doin what keak does!- THATS ALL. it aint a big problem with me, bash, beesh, i listen too all his music. im just stating the real.

another words, i wanna see bay area artists be bay area artists, not have too change.

on a side note, 95live.com launches back fully on sept 1st.

and even on a much side note, potna deuce - thats my potna is one of my fav songs...

Peace

STFU! If Universal offered you a, hMm, lets say- a $5-30 million contract (don't know what his contract is worth though) to make a few albums, I bet you wouldn't refuse their offer. MOney talks dogg. I'm still feelin' Bash now even though he ain't Beesh. I think his album was real solid. If he a sell out, he wouldn't have A-Wax, Richie Rich, Mac Dre and E-40 on his album.

(not a fact)
From what I heard Universal wanted him to make music their way, but he told them they only way he would sign is to be able to make half his album his way.

But whatever, Bash ain't a sell out.

sorry for being a "hater" but i cant force myself to like baby bash, cause i dont. and while to a degree i respect him for feeding his family and being a "real dude", i cant respect him as an artist

but its not the player as much that im hating on but moreso the game. we can all agree that the music industry is fucked up, right? talented artists cant get national radio play, yet guys like cassidy are getting it and making millions. thats not right.

i cant respect bash cause hes become part of this dirty game of money making that is the music industry, and is contributing to its continuation rather than trying to stop it.

its like pres bush. hes not the one to blame for american imperialism in the world, but i still cant respect him cause hes embracing it rather than trying to stop it. but hey hes getting paid so i guess you gotta respect him right? (of course the wrongdoings of the music industry dont compare to the wrongdoings of american exploitation, but thats not the point)

unless bashs music was really tight, id overlook it, but its not, so i still see him as playing a role in fucking truly talented artsits over, so im not a fan of his music or what he does. believe it or not, but there are artists who turn down record contracts from mainstream labels and are able to make good money soley on their own talent

well theres def different levels of sellin out. but the main reason is this, say Ya boy gets signed too defjam or whatever. - and they completly change there style for the sole purpose of the dollar... do u feel me?
Are you saying Bash sold out because he flipped his style?

If you are then I'd have to disagree. Bash switched up his style before he even got signed to Universal, take for example "On Tha Cool." He was more on a laid back steez rather than the old Potna Duece/Latino Velvet days and I thought that was and in my opinion still is some of the best werk he's done. I didn't even like Bash that much back then till he started making laid back tracks and it's pretty obvious a lot of people feel the same way just look at all the success he's had. I just think he stumbled upon a style + sound (Happy P) that alot of people are feeling and ran with it.

Beesh is a savage. If bay fans would have supported him back in he day when he was with Potna Deuce and Latino Velvet he would have gotten his due then and not had to switch up his style a little bit to get that money.

This is just how niggaz was speaking on hammer. The nigga didn't start sounding like everybody else he just made his own more accessable style, and thats what got him paid. Would niggaz call yuk a sellout if he went 3x's plat with the raspy voice?

Baby Bash is a trill-ass playa... he should spell his name BAYbe Bash, cuz it seems like he always represents the bay in what he does. Like people have said here, he came with Mac Dre, A-Wax, Richie Rich, E-40 and Mr.Kee on his last album. Now, how bay is that? Yes, he's doin' his R&B-type of hits, but he aso make sure to keep it bay. Keep it 100!
