That aint shit. I woke up to about, oh i odnt know, maybe hanf an inch...MAYBE an inch and said fuck it, im goin to work. Get outside, catch the bus as usual. There was 4 people on my bus...usually theres about 35. Everything was straight until we got to the otherside of 520. There was a jam and a ganga cars on the side of the road. The further we go on 520, the more the road was just snowed over. By the time I go off the bus, i was about 6 inches deep in the snow. Out here in Overlake, it is CRAZY snowy....the roadws are FUCKED and i dont know if im gonna make it home.

I shoulda stayed home.

That is exactly why I turned right back around. I could have made it to work for sure, but if this shit keeps up, who knows if I am making home over Seattle's hilly ass terrain.

Same here, I left and was goin to get some gas but I started to slide....so I said fuck it and just didnt' turn and went straight to the next gas station which was way easier to get into.....I decided after sliding and seeing this dumb ass in a camry go sideways at a light and then into a parking lot that i was going to go home......called my boys i work with and asked where they were cause one of them has a truck...but they were already down by work in South Seattle...so I called my boss...told him i was gonna turn around and see if the weather got better......dunno if it will......but i still got my low profile tires on...so i needa get some studded snow tires soon.....

Its always either/or. It wasnt NEARLY as bad in Seattle. I finally made it out of the eastside...took 4 hours though. Home sweet home.

Yeah i live in Ravenna...i got back out here and almost laughed at the miniscule amount compared to the nearly 9 inches of snow that i had left in Redmond.

shit was pretty wack today.. woke up and it was dumpin snow shit was niiiice. like 2 inches... but an hour or 2 later.... shit disappeared.. snowed off and on all day.. nothing on the ground right now... i wish portland was just like 500 feet higher..

We have about 6 inches on Queen Anne hill. I went and stood on 15th for like 10 minutes about an hour ago and only 3 cars went by and they were sliding all over and they were only going like 10-15 miles an hour. I'm glad I was off today because I don't think I would have been able to make it in anyways.
