Read up on some black history than come hollla at me youngsta. Its the young generation that dont understand the history and negativity behind that word. I dont care if its nigga or nigger the shit aint coo and nobody should be sayin it. Thousands of people died behind the use of that word and it seems like the struggles that men and women of the civil rights movement went through are are being forgotten by todays black youth. Ask anybody that grew up in the civil rights movement about that word and they'll have nothin but negative things to say about it. The word was created to degrade, belittle, and disrespect black people but for some reason everyone seems to forget that.

Im not tryin to come off like im high and mighty and dont use the word because I do slip up from time to time and use it just for the simple fact I hear it so much. But I dont condone the use of the word by anybody and anyone that has a good understanding of blsck history shouldn't either.

i wouldnt blame white kids or kids from the suburbs, they shouldnt be sayin it, but hip hop transcends all colors and when you have people using it in chorus' or at the end of every line they say of course some people are going to either use it thinking they are cool or use it by mistake. Im white and born in the Sco raised in Pacifica for the most part and dont use the word nigga for shit unless im rappin along to some tight song blastin in my car. Its pretty ignorent of you to think 1. only whites use the word and 2. only people in the suburbs use the word. Most whites and most people in the suburbs in my opinion and from my socialization dont use the word nigga, find it disrespectful when they hear other people using it and also see it as a bad word because of the history behind it. Please dont mistake a few ignorent fucks you saw at the mall for a representation of all suburban people and white people in the bay area.
