ashes come from the palms used on palm sunday....then oil is added.

I'm Catholic, but I don't practice that shit because it's cliche. Bunch of fucking hyprocrites go. Ever wonder why the Church is so fucking packed on Ash Wednesday/Easter/Christmas, because of all the fucking hyprocrites. Fuck that I don't want to be a part of that. I haven't gone to church in years and don't plan to anytime soon either. Last time was a wedding. I believe in God and that's it, I don't need to go to no building with a bunch of sick contagious hyprocrites to make me believe that. Shit is disgusting having to sit next to some pricks you don't know. People always coughing, sneezing n shit, fuck that.

I did see a bunch of idiots walk in with that ash on their forehead. Look like a bunch of dumbasses. haha They walk in feeling all holy and proud of their shit mark. Sure buddy your holy, tommorow you will forget about that ash and continue doing the same shit you always have.
come on now you cant be serious with that shit...that aint no diff than passin people by in the mall, sittin in class wit 30 other people, etc....but i agree with you on some points on how theres alotta hypocrites but theres also a good number of people who actually do take religion seriously and not try to switch up once they leave the church.....alotta people go to just do some thinkin, stress etc and it helps em out u know? i remember i used to always go once i found out my sis had cancer and it helped me cope with so idk all im sayin that there shouldnt be nothin wrong with goin to church just cause u think they all hypocrites cause imo i would rather worry bout my own beliefs, and shit than worry about theirs

I see. I understand how it can make people feel better. The music, the praying, just positive stuff that can be soothing. I personally don't need to be in a church though to help make me feel better spirtually. I find that there's too many distractions, people coughing, sneezing, moving around, it just ruins it for me. I don't like the robotic feeling either of taking commands, like standing up, sitting down, standing up, sitting down, kneeling, standing back up, sitting down, holding hands, shaking hands. lol WTF! Just let me sit and chill! If I want some peace of mind, I can do it in the comfort of my home, car, just chill listen to music and be by myself if I want that peace. I can only feel the power of church when I go as an entire family, grandparents, my parents, aunts/uncles, cousins,... For me that usually only happens at a funeral or wedding tho. :ermm:
