If you got heat, I'm gonna listen to you. The ones I respect the most, though, are the ones that come from the streets and don't rap about it in every song. The first example that comes to mind is Andre Nickatina...I consider Nicky to be a wordsmith, and not a gangsta. He's from Fillmoe, so he's from the same place as every other real cat outa Frisco, but every song isn't about how he wetted 3 cats with one shot.

Check Eminem (first couple albums before he went completely mainstream), check Atmosphere, check Smoov-E (makes me laugh), the Grouch, and many others. Not all of them come from the roughest of neighborhoods I'm sure, but none of them need to really talk about that. Not all rap needs to be about the hood.

I was reading an old thread of mine in the open forum or some shit and you happen to type to me sideways anbout something Iposted regarding MySpace. I think you come off as sort of a bully to some folks but all in all I think that you may be your own biggest fan in reality. White rapper or not, you're about as talented as the rest of the marginal rappers in the Bay including myself. I've heard one or two of your songs and they are just not moving me to give them another listen and that's speaking as a fan of the music. I always have liked your covers though they showed imagination but I think you really need to check yourself before you say such things like I may have a weirdo gay thing attraction to you besides I'm not fan of white meat in the first place. The heydays of Dutch are over so do like the rest of us and just listen from the sidelines homie.

Dumbest thread. If you suck, you suck period. Only 3% of rappers out there are worth listening to, the sad thing is the majority of the remaining 97% are black so dig that for a second.... If a rapper doesn't hold up to the image he or she portrays, they get exposed, it's simple as that. There are fakes, suckers, and punks from all colors and nobody denies that. But to mark a whole ethnicity of artists as wack is just ignorant.

all i know is when i go to times square here in nyc to virgin records (the biggest record store on the planet) dutch and his group have 3 cd's sittin on the shelf. thats dope as fuck since there's only a handful of bay cats that can say that (e-40, droop, balance, and 1 or 2 others)
