If Kokane or Mc Ren would drop something new.

I am waiting for new Above The Law / Cold 187um aka Big Hutch.

The West is not done, but they are behind. We need the old schoolers to drop something.

I thought that Kokane "Back To The Clap" was a solid West Coast release in a long time. Quality.

only Game, E-40, Dr. Dre i could actually say i would be "excited" about. everything else is whatever...all other west coast artists have either taken too long or just come out with mediocre shit for me to care about it anymore.

Nah not really because everyone has sold out with their intentions to make club beats. Everyone sounds like the South, fucking wack. WestCoast just ain't what it used to be. We ain't got the FUNK no more. We left our roots for some other bull$hit. $$$$$

I wouldn't use the word excited...I guess I could care less if an album dropped or not from any West Coast artist. I seen that the East Coast Artist AZ is dropping a new one, I will get that for sure, because with out hearing a snippet, or 5 mix tapes before an album, I know what to expect from his c.d and I have never been disappointed. I guess I must have used that time machine and got stuck with this West Coast music as well. It is not so much that I like a West Coast sound, but when I become a fan of an artist, I expect when I purchase their next album I will hear more of what made me a fan in the first place, instead of the big switch, and this is happening more and more.

i wish i can get some what excited about some westcoast shit to drop. Im tired of waiting. All the released dates for new release dates for new release dates just find out when the next release date is. I'll listen to it when it comes out. And if ATLEAST 90% of the songs are tight to me, i'll buy it. 5 or 6 good songs on an album isnt a classic. I'll download those 5 or 6 then recylcle bin the rest of the album. the artwork can go with them it as well.

I blame the internet/mixtape phenomenon. That has caused a "Quantity over Quality" flood of music. Even from some respected established artist. Just think. If Crooked I only made a couple of notable cameo appearances here and there over the years, and some one came telling me Crooked I has a new album coming out Today. I WOULD BE EXCITED! Even the new "HOT" rappers think that if they release a gazillion songs and mixtapes that helps. I don't think so. If you're hot...your hot. I only need ONE serious project to tell me that. When they come out the gate oversaturating the game with thier image, by the time the real shit drops they're already played out and there's no need for all the excitement. With that said. I'm excited about that Hutch as well.
