So i guess it's okay to constanly segregate blacks, but then when some get tired and just accept what they are giving it's them that's segregating. Shit don't work like that homes. Red line districting took place at the end of WWII... In addition to the WASPs (White Anglo Saxon Protestants), the banks gave mortgages to the Irish and Italian GI's so they could move from the inner-cities to the burbs (basically they got let in to the white club)... that is when the vacuum in the inner cities was filled by blacks... once the banks were running low on WASP and Catholic clientele, they began allowing a few black GI's to receive mortgages..

Redline districting basically stated that having blacks in the neighborhood would lower the property values of surrounding houses... white flight ensued... the banks designed a system to keep blac folks in debt/poor by refusing to approve businesses loans...

Lack of business = poverty = increase of crime... as crime went up, the black families that wanted to move out were given bottom dollar for their houses, which in turn were sold to the next black family for as high as possible...

keep everybody in debt and top that off with a dash of dope for added drama...
that is how the hood (CA's top three for example: Compton, Oakland, Richmond) was created...

What I am referring to is an unwillingness to deal within the business structure in a manner that is mutually beneficiary and upwardly mobile. I see too much of the "union mentality" often among Black employees...that the benefits and entitlements should come before the work ethic, and I've seen it in multiple fields. And this may very well be a survival mechanism based on dealing within the white structure, but it needs to change.
