Just curious.

There is something to be said for the fact that he has come out with 25 plus albums that I am sure made some cash but for real, 7 figure check, for an underground album, in this climate of record sales? Really?

7 Figures...LMAO...I'd really love to see AP-9's album do good, but lets be realistic, I honestly doubt it will push anything close to 7 figures buddy. Im not sure what country your referring to 7 figures, i mean he might push that much if your counting in yen or pesos, but not in american dollars...lets be real.
Your seven figure check might have looked something like $ 0,099,954...good money, but it aint the kind of money that makes people and their kids set for life.

AP9 is a helluva artist and Headshotz is one of my favorite albums..musically..I'll be listening for the album and hopin AP's new one is anything close to his first..good luck with it and future projects, we'd love to see another cat from the bay make it big.

and DJ PIMP, well, he might have some business sense and connections...but to me homie, you are a comedian and a damn funny one, cause most of the stuff you says makes me laugh...but you do put in a lot of work for the bay and i do respect that of you..keep on hustlin...let the artists speak for themselves and stick to promotin,

once again, it wasnt my post and i wont get to deep into his money, but i will say this, first he didnt ever say he was getting a 7 figure check for this one album, that would be some jay-z shit, second there's nothin wrong with expecting a big check. AP is a very positive person who never says never. i seen AP get a check one time over 200 thou from his guys over seas. i almost fainted and he tossed it in the glovebox like it was a roll of dimes. to my knowlege AP's biggest selling album as far as soundscan was head shiots that did over 10 thou, his military mindstate did like 7500, pieces and most of his others do 3 to 6 thousand in the states. AP has been doing business in australia and japan for years. he's a very smart businessman, when u see him in his new vette and rangerover, believe they were paid for in cash. i aint here to say he's rich like e-40 or jigga, but he makes a great living that i would be very happy to make.

I feel you, you didnt say it, and I'm not saying AP.9 isnt a a good business man or nothing like that because it seems that he is in one way or another, but no way in hell he's getting 7 figure checks from the rap business, especially these days.

I do hope the album sells well and even though im not a big AP fan I will be checking this album out.

After this record he gotta get back with the Mob Figgaz and do a record quick, that wont be a 7 figure check either and you gotta split the money 5 ways but I can see that being a good business move.

the mob figaz have agreed to do a new album. by the way, the first mob figaz album sold something like 260,000 copies. times that by 7 bucks in your way up in the seven figure range. not sure what C-BO made but i'm sure it was a nice check. lets hope lightning strikes twice.

Yeah I remember hearing that sales figure a while back, shit, that was a good album, it was a good time to be in the rap business as well. I bought that album and I will buy the new one if it ever comes out. Hope lighting strikes twice as well because they deserve it.

this is dj pimp, i have asked AP to please keep typing in caps as he forgot a few times, lol. i tell AP all the time to please not get me into fights with faggots on the siccness, so that way people who wanna yell at him and call him names can atleast pick on the right guy. i never said this album was gonna make him 7 figures but AP is very confident in himself. he dont make a record to sell 5000 copies, he wants every man woman and child on the planet to buy his shit, thats how he's always been. his drive and ambition reminds me of cats like jay-z and 50 cent. they aint tryin to hear the word CANT, and second best is not an option. he has done 25 records and has designed every single cover, liner note, shout out, and everything else associated with the album. he turns down 30 beats for every 1 he selects. he came from nothing and is very successful but is still driven to succeed at any cost.

u misunderstood. c-bo made that money, how much he paid the mob figaz, i have no idea, but i do know it sold 260,000 units and i know AP get 7 to 8 dollars per unit, so if any of his records ever did numbers like that he would be reaching 7 figs easy. will he ever reach those numbers? i dont know, but i hope so and if u know AP like i know AP, he expects all of his albums do sell like hotcakes
