on some real shit, I feel where you're coming from... somewhat...

but just out of curiosity, exactly what comments in this thread were disrespecting AP.9? I saw people disrespecting Aaron Carter, and saying they didn't like the idea of the song, but I can't recall any of the disrespectful shit aimed towards AP.9. Then again, I didn't read the whole thread, which is why I'm wondering. I don't think there's anything wrong at all with people saying the collab sounds like a bad idea. People understand that it's business, but it sounds like a weird mixture of artists.

I gotta be honest I don't like the idea of the song, but I'm def gonna check it out. I'm atually very curious to see how it sounds. In the end AP.9 makes dope music and I'm sure I'm gonna like the album overall even if I don't like that song.

Just my 2 cents
thanks bro, i'll be honest, when booyowski told me that aaron carter wanted to produce some tracks for AP i was happy as hell cz i been hearin that the kid had some slaps. then when aaron decided that not only would he produce the tack but he would sing on it i was even happier. most of the time AP features unknown cats from his mob shop label, even though he's done tracks with yuk and c-bo, AP has never done a track with a feature this big, aaron has sold over 4 million records and has had dozens of songs on the radio. he's well known all over the world. if miley syrus or donny osmond wanted to do tracks with AP i would tell him to go for it. at his stage of the game nothing can take away from AP's rep or his street cred. he is one of the most respected rappers in bay area history and if you dont know that by now then u really dont know what time it is. with over 25 albums out AP is only getting better each time out and he shows no sign of slowing down. he's not only a dope rapper he is one of the coolest, nicest, most intelligent cats i have ever met. he's donated his time to every track that kontac has done with the stay in school program, he/s spoken at every major school in the bay area and reps the bay harder than any rapper alive. nobody rode harder for mac dre or pretty black, AP offered 10 grand for the return of mac dre's tombstone and even offered to buy a new one for the fam. if u aint feelin him or his style thats cool but there aint no way to deny him his place as a bay area OG who has a solid fanbase and a calaloge of work that most artists would kill for.

THIS IS NOT A-WAX!!!

I find it hilarious that you announce "AP.9 Releases Hit Song With ABC's "Dancing With The Stars", Aaron Carter" and are upset because people have something negative to say about it. WTF did you expect?
i didnt expect 25 pages. if u ask me the more the merrier. i love the song, the shit slaps but i know plenty of cats will hate just to hate and many wont like it just cause its AP or aaron or both, some wont like it because they just aint feelin it. everyone at the world famous china club here in new york are lovin it and that crowd is almost as tough as the apollo theater. the bottom line is we want people to know about AP's new album REALITY CHECK, and if aaron carters name can help make that happen then we're happy as fuck. please remember that AP aint had a job or hustled in the streets for over a decade. he really eats off this music thing and he hopes to continue to do that for many years to come. i honestly think most of u are gonna love the track and if not i honestly dont care, i love it and AP loves it and trust me, AP is his own worst critic. if he wasnt feelin it would make his album and he would be the first to say its wack. he's even said in this thread that it aint the best song on the album, but i believe most of yall are gonna feel it.

@ DJ Pimp - Your last two posts should have been posted right after people started to talk trash in this thread and that should have been it. I can respect that. Not gonna change me not liking Aaron Carter, but it gives us as the fans of AP.9 a better understanding on this whole situation.

This thread is fuckin ridiculous. If the song is hard its hard, reguardless of who made the beat and who sings the hook.I produced 3 tracks on Reality Check. I, like Aaron Carter, am a white kid in his early twenties, I'm no gangster, I'm a music producer, and what it all comes down to is how the music sounds. If the boy got slaps, he got slaps. AP.9 is a solid dude with a good head on his shoulders and a good ear for music. I trust his judgement with this collab and am excited to hear the result. Who knows, maybe Aaron Carter does have good production and can sing? I guess we're about to find out. REALITY CHECK NOVEMBER 17th.

Why do they get to hear it and we don't? LOL

C'mon Pimp, hook us up with a snippet at least. I really want to give it a listen so I can come to my own conclusion.

youll hear it when it drops!!! NOV. 17TH......... REALITY CHECK!!!!

honestly the reason i played it for them at the china club is they are one of the hardest groups to please music wise. they all dance to lil wayne, jigga or beyonce. most of them are from brooklyn, manhattan, queens and the bronx, all 18 to 25 and since they dont know AP i thought that they would be honest about their feedback and they all liked it. i wanted to hear it on a real system instead of my headphones so i slipped it to the dj and it came on right after Biggie's Warning and right before Ron Browz Pop Champagne. the crowd loved it and AP was happy with the feedback.

I understand what you're saying... but you can't really assume he "hasn't done shit with his life"

I'm sure he's nowhere near as rich as the Backstreet Boys are/were... but it seems like you may just automatically assume everyone on the siccness is a loser who has nothing going for them, feel me?
