Okay so I was lookin round in a tat shop yesterday. They had some music playing. He said they were called slipknot. That shit is some crazy ass music, makes you want to kill someone for real...Anyone heard of them before?

Who hasnt heard of slipknot, but yeah they got a lot of good songs. My favorites are People = Shit, Wait and Bleed, Spit it Out, My Plague, and Everything Ends. Slipknot and Static X are my favorite metal bands.

seriously, I thought everybody had heard of Slipknot, weak group IMHO, I personnely refuse to consider them a band with the 7 or nine people that make "music"...anyways chicks always seem to love that "bannana's" song.

Thats not the truth.....i saw em at ozzfest in 99 and again a few other times later. Shows are insane. To White Devil......you ever heard twisted method....they were touring with mushroomhead.

Hahaa man I love Slipknot - defenitley one of my favorite bands. I'm with syk0tic, Static-X and Slipknot are two of my favorites. I saw Static a couple of years ago in Frisco with Soulfly and SOIL; Static is one of the best live bands to see. Slipknot is on some other shit though. Iowa is fucking tight, I haven't heard the entire first album, but I know a few songs that are sick. To you guys that said they suck live.. I have yet to see them in concert, but I heard they are one of the best bands to see.. maybe I heard wrong. If you like Corey Taylor's (singer of Slipknot) music, check out Stone Sour his other band. He comes hard on some of the songs, but its a lot more mellow then slipknot. I don't know if it's true or not, but I read on some website, he said he was going to make one more album (the next one) with slipknot then focus on Stone Sour, it was a while ago though. If you like hard shit, check out In Flames.

For the people who like Slip then check out MudVayne...There probably my top fav Metal band...They bring some sick tracks...Static X is raw but I wasnt to impressed with there last album...
