it is very mom and pop (couple locations, ive met the owner on numerous occasions), and it happened once out of the 6 months i been there

the same thing was happening to my girl and she was having the same attitude as Timm here. She was so naive about her rights as an employee and scared she'd get fired. Thing was she was working sometimes up to 90 minutes over after clocking out because they told her to clock out and keep working. Lose lose situation. Leave at the right time and her work wasnt done and shed get written up and they wouldn't allow her to keep working for pay. She did it in fear of losing her job and didn't wanna say anything. I went in and spoke with her manager, letting him know that this unfair labor practice needed to stop immediately. Since then shes been promoted to a manager and no longer is working for free.

the job market got fools shook....just cause there arent no jobs out there dont mean we gotta work for free...they usin it to their advantage too, "ok you wont go the extra mile (work for free,come in on your days off, train new fuckers etc....) theres aline out the door for your job,they acceptin far less too....dont make it right..
