I bet you if E-40 was from Dipset, wearin pink, making TRL videos, spittin his shit on a Kanye beat these youngstas would think he was the best thing to happen to rap.
Seriiously though, 40 is the Bay as far this rap shit goes, and I know its just my opinion, but shit, you gotta be fuckin crazy not to dig his music.
I can see now that maybe this is gonna be the generation gap in Bay Area rap, its already started with dudes hollerin "New Bay"... its gonna be the "New Bay' vs the "Old Bay"

It's also that his flow ain't even that unique anymore. Sounds like another fuckin rapper from wherever. He used to come with the off-beat mobb shit, the shit that you wouldn't hear anyone else.
The beats play a HUGE role in this, but I also think it's his mentality on trying to be ''bigger'' than he has been, nationally speaking. I don't like it one bit and wish he came back with the real gangster shit. I know he's older and matured, and that's probably the reason... but I don't care what the reason is... I miss CD's like element and charlie h....
(btw once again hes my favorite rapper of all time so dont come with the 'you hater' shit... lol)
