do you know how stupid some of you dudes sound on this board this aint about earning repect this is about providing an avenue for those who would like to take the opportunity to trade a cd in. i cant do nothing about my shit getting bootlegged and you cant stop me from pushing my product obviously
im still eating and thats what im in this for, we as artist and label owners have taking a big hit over thses cd burning years so theres always 2 sides to every story. so all you niggaz or wanna be niggas that got something to say about it FUCK YA i dont feel one ounce of regret about my projects ive put out. but i can apologize for the projects where we had to take people off but was not able to take there names off the project because the booklets were printed. in 2001 and 2002 i put out 20 projects each year by myself with no staff maybe you knew that or you didnt shit falls through the crack sometime. SO LET WHO EVER CHOOSES TO TAKE MY OFFER TAKE AND THOSE THAT DONT NO PROBLEM. as far as my prices for my book its not for fans it is for those in the business and i gave up million dollar game ALL THE INDUSTRY SECRETS on how to eat off this independent shit and yall know i know the SECRETS. but i love coming to this board the controversy is amazing YOU CANT PLEASE EVERYONE but to all my true GET LOW FAM THANK YOU and like i said trade in whatever project you didnt feel. we got all new material a gang of it 3 solos in over a 5 month period and 17 other projects of new artist and soundtracks

But maybe dudes is bootleggin, downloading and burning your product because they were sick of buying the shit they already had. Your right, there is always 2 sides to every story.
And even though you say this aint about earning respect, you a legend to us mang. Theres gonna be respect involved regardless. And the only way we the fans can measure our respect for you is by what you show us through your music.
So the end result is that your hustle relies on that respect homie. And as a true fan, I can honestly say that you got talent as a hustler. Thats real. But I feel you got so much more talent as a musician... and thats why we got dissapointed with you mang. I gotta speak it.
And even if this dont matter to you, this is what matters to the fans.

First: good shit, JT. Don't let the haters get to you--too many people don't want to see the big picture and they just assume the worst all the time. A lot of them really need to grow up and stop acting like life is an episode of "Saved By The Bell" or "90210." People could take a lesson from the knowledge you've talked about gaining from Islam, IMHO.
Second: these new projects coming out--do any of them involve The Gamblaz, Seff, D-Moe, etc., or are they with brand new artists, and will there be any announcement of their arrivals posted on THE SICCNESS or elsewhere (i.e. Frisco Street Show...)PEACE!

melotrauma well put i can respect that, but i must say i was getting bootlegged way before i recyled the first songs which were "beware of those" and "certified" both songs appeared on "something crucial" and the movie soundtrack "beware of those". the year was 2000 bootleggin been a delicous meal since early 96.
so for every fan that got disappointed over my decision to recycle i had been disappointed 5 to 10 times more. so i cant cry over spilled milk niether should anyone else. i have provided more new material than any one else in the bay
and my new album is just a sample of whats to come, and i recorded that in 5 fucking days not one recycled song you why because there was no need to recycle one song because it wouldnt have fit.
