Thiz thread just assures me of how fucked up modern television iz. I feel sorry 4 u young catz cuz y'all waz raised on some bullshit.

One thing that makez TV the way it iz iz because more studioz got more loot 2 throw around & thatz why u will see a 4 episode pilot then itz off the air. They can put anything out(& they usually do) & take a loss if it aint any good. 25 yearz ago if some shit waz 2 be given a chance it better be good. They weren't takin any chances back then we had better programming back then too. There were a lot more original ideas too. Everyone now just seemz too follow a trend

You're right! Back in those days.. I actually was fuckin EXCITED when my fav shows came on! I looked foward to them..... these days.. im like well this show is aight.. i guess I'll watch it.. but I remember as a kid we used to get hella excited when they showed these tight tv shows...

Itz good that we have some old skool headz on here. Like I said before I feel sorry 4 the youngtsaz now. The showz & cartoonz that come on now are wack az shit. I buy my daughter Dora, Bratz, Strawberry Shortcake etc. cuz she likez that shit but I've gotten her into Charlie Brown, the old skool Fat Albert & other shit that I grew up loving. She lovez that shit too. I want my kid 2 get into old skool stuff az much az modern stuff cuz thatz how I waz raized. I'm fortunate 2 have had parentz like that. I tell my friendz who have kidz all the time 2 turn their kidz on to old skool shit so they'll have some type of sense of history. Plus they if they don't have a one track mind they'll realize that shit from yesterday waz way better then the shit of 2day.

The threadstarter iz right. Back then u alwayz looked foward 2 your fav show. All the best showz came on Friday & Saturday back then. If yoour old skool then you'll definitly remember that. Now Friday & Saturday don't have shit & it definitly don't have shit 4 men. Modern television forces u out the house on Friday & Saturday even if u don't have no place 2 go & no money 2 spend. Itz just that wack.

I love all the Twilight Zone series.. there's the late 50s/60s series, the 80s, then the one season they did in 2002.
I got all of them on dvd cept for a few seasons in the 60s. them shits are expensive though. I love the 80s twilight zone though.

but the outer limits... I cant stand the 60s series, but I love the 90s. I got a whole bunch of outer limits dvds too.
