Damn, everyone is quick to jump the gun on this one. Im a little confused here, but this guy is mashin through the Moe shooting at police, and police find a weapon near him after they shoot him. Now obviously, that doesnt mean he shoulda been killed, but you gotta remember cops are tryin to do their job and protect the people, this guy was obviously out of control and innocent civilians could have been hurt. Then you would all be talkin about how the police force needs to handle things with a heavy trigger finger.
This case brings me back to a case in 2002 where an innocent man was shot on geneva. According to witnesses he had a knife but was not attempting to fight off police. A few days later 3 cops came into my sociology class and I asked them if they could explain the procedure. Surprisingly, they showed me how a man with a knife could stab a cop in 2 steps from ten feet away. Pretty interesting shit. By the way, it was a huge news story, but it eventually vanished because the police followed the right procedure.
So before we all jump the gun, lets see what the report says, lets see if all the witnesses stories come together, lets make sure theres evidence that proves this shouldnt have happened. If there is, lets get a bunch of rocks and throw them throw the Northern Police Stations windows and burn the bitch down. How does that sound?
