Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski and Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez are just two of the professional fighters that will be dishing out servings of bittersweet revenge on the second season of MTV’s Bully Beatdown.

The hit television show is hosted by Jason “Mayhem” Miller, and the premise is simple in nature: A bully is selected by one of his victims to face off with a professional mixed martial artist for a chance to earn some extra cash. If the perpetrator can edge out the pro in battle, he gets dough, if not, the cash goes to the victim.

Of course more often than not the bully goes home empty handed, with nothing more than some bruises and a cold slice of humble pie for their efforts.

It is safe to say that whichever bully winds up squaring off with Arlovski on the downside of his recent losing skid will be one unhappy customer.

Season 2 of Bully Beatdown is set to make it’s debut on August 27 at 9:30 PM ET/PT on MTV.

I watched a couple of episodes.

Kinda lame though. Of course a professional MMA fighter is going to kick the shit out of an untrained prick.

Where is the suspense in that?

Why don't they go out on the streets and pick real wannabe tough guys like gangsters, meat heads and deutsch bags and let them get their fucking face beat in. Oh and no head gear or shin pads.
