Am I The Only Person That Doesn't Watch Music Videoz & Listen 2 The Radio?

I sometimez wonder 2 myself. Am I the only one? A lot of catz claim they don't listen 2 the radio but they occasionally do. I NEVER listen 2 the radio. The last car I had I rigged my stereo 2 where u could only listen 2 CD's. I don't know what's going on on the radio. I don't know who haz the number 1 single, whoz getting the most radio play or anything. If I go 2 the club I assume that the music that they're playing iz the shit on the radio.
Videoz are just az wack. Same azz bullshit. I might stop & look @ a video if I'm flippin thru the channelz but 8x out of 10 I'll pass MTV & BET right up. I'm the only person I know thatz like thiz. People tell me I'm taking thiz shit too serious but O well. I take my entertainment serious. Another thing that killz me iz when people ask me "if u don't listen 2 the radio then how do u know whatz good & whatz out in storez"? That alwayz remindz me of how lazy the consumer iz.

The only radio I listen to is our local college station because they have some amazing underground hip hop shows. I havent listened to a regular radio station in years. I think if my CD player broke I would rather listen to nothing then put on the radio.

I do check out videos every once in a while. Usually I just check out MTV/BET/Much while im channel surfing. Its pretty rare that I see a video that I want to sit through and watch...

I agree 100% with you.

I don't actually RIG my car system to only play CDs, but say I was shopping for a new deck and they had 2 same decks but one of them was for $5 less b/c the radio was busted, I'd take the one $5 cheaper.

only time i listen to the radio is at work, when 75 percent of the time its classic rock (when i can even hear it, its kinda loud there), or when I'm on my break at work on sundays listening to football....or at home listening to football on thursday (and now saturday) nights

I only rigged it 2 prevent people(esp bitchez) from gettin in my car trying 2 turn on the radio 2 listen 2 some watered down bullshit which I highly despise. Thatz the first thing mothafuckaz do when they get in your car, start fuckin with your beat. I put a end 2 that bullshit. I hate radio. I would hate 2 go in the store or somewhere & come out & the person sittin in my car took out my CD & got chingy or some wack shit playing in my car.

I don't ever listen to the radio. All I do is buy cd's...burn them onto my computer...burn them onto a blank cd...drive around in my car and listen to them.

When it comes to rap all I listen to is underground Chicago rap and 90's Bay Area mobb shit or more recent non-hyphy bay area rap albums like "San Quinn-The Rock." The only hyphy cd I listen to is "The Mossie-Soil Savy". I listen to a lot of r&b like R. Kelly, Johnny P, Joe, and Avant. The only other music I like is trance/electronica...kickin it wit a grip of asians caused me to like it, and I like 80's pop music like Cyndi Lauper, Phil Collins and Genesis, and shit like that. Other than that the only music I like is orchestral scores from movies and shit.

While im on the siccness sometimes I have BET or MTV on mute. I stay up on whats going on in mainstream hip hop and the music industry in general by reading shit on here and allhiphop.com. I like reading the soundscan numbers and looking at the billboard charts...I like reading about the mainstream shit but I have no interest in listening to any of it.

I like some New York rappers like Shyne, Cuban Link, and AZ but that's it.

I got a Palm Treo 700P cell phone. If u not knowing I got a tv/weather tracker/web browser & can get all the info I need on it including traffic reportz. Matter of fact I'm chatting with u niggaz on the Siccness on it right now. I don't own a computer @ the time. What I did wasn't a rediculous extreme. It took less then a minute.

The last time I listened 2 the radio waz in 1998. I waz livin in LA. I figuerd since I waz in LA they gonna be playin some cool shit. WRONG! Them stationz arevjust az wack az the otherz. I use 2 watch Rap City faithfully but towardz the end of 1999 I couldn't take it anymore. They would show the same azz shit. I've been through with tv & radio. The internet iz by far the best place 2 go when u wanna find out whatz good. The only music videoz I watch are the onez that come with a DVD I buy.

I haven't listened to the radio for years, I used to listen to Tim Westwoods rap show in the uk but haven't for years, I just listen to cds or mp3s, the only radio id listen to is talk radio. I don't watch videos much apart from on youtube.
