nicky is a pioneer in this bay area underground rap game. he's been droppin heaters for over a decade now. I think the people that say he's garage is really missin out. haha yea I admit he can come across weird to some people since muh'fucka stays coked out..but he's still one of the most, if not THE most, unique artists the bays ever seen. slaps like ayo for yayo, scottie 15, smoke dope n rap are just the tip of the iceberg. he got so much heat to list just off the top tho. just check out "a tale of II andres" for a start. if u still sleepin on dre dog..WAKE UP!

im not white but i think thats tight that white ppl, and alot who dont even really listen to rap music will listen to nickatina. that says something about what an artist is doing musically, to be able to transcend to such a different audience than most artists in his genre. thats like if a rock band played hardcore rock, but for some reason alota black ppl and hip hop heads tended to like them. i see that as a good thing

I stopped listening to his music a long time ago. His voice just get on my nerves. I can't bump him for too long. I think the last album of his that I liked was the first one he did with Equipto. That one was sicc though. After that one, I just lost interest. His first two albums are still classicc.

Dre Dog aka Andre Nickatina is one of my favorite rappers of all time. Granted I liked his Dre Dog intensity more then his Andre Nicky uniqueness. But he's still cool. I do think he softened up a bit but I think it's more because of the beats he's rappin over more then him. He used to have way more intense, sharper, angrier, heartfelt rythyms and beats.

KillaWhale, Situation Critical, and Crooked Crow are my all time favorites as Dre Dog.

As Nickatina it would have to be I'm A Pisces, Players Emergency, Sun Duk Kim, My Ride, Falalalala, Gingerbreadman, Baking Soda in Minnesota, Awake like an Owl.

Dre Dog is one of the hardest mc's in the bay. But when you like Bay Rap you didn't must like Nickatina. YadadaMean he's fuckin speacial but a real Bay Legend from his first album till now!!!!
