Being a Browns fan...I know all about Marty-ball.

I do not think this loss was his fault though...I can't put the blame on him.

He didn't turn the ball over, drop an INT, fumble an INT, and get two costly penalties.

I know it's easy to put all that on him...especially with his past. But he went 14-2 this season...and the players blew the game...not the coach.
I totally agree with you on this, but someone has got to be the fall guy and its most likely gonna be him. The decision to go for it on fourth down early in the first half rather than a field goal will come back to haunt him. Also the two timeouts wasted, he challenged a play he shouldnt have that cost one and then after a tv timeout and having the team on the sideline, the went onto the field and were confused and had to burn the last timeout, that was ridiculous.

yea id say marty should take a decent size blame for the loss he got way too conservative and it was almost like he wanted to prove rivers was good enough to win in his first playoff game or something.. he shouldve stuck with what was workin and they wouldve stopped the pats, LT was almost but just not quite enough to beat the pats... hats off to the chargers d << absolute savages but belicheck and the pats move on 5-0 vs #1 ranked teams in the playoffs for belicheck now

I dont know why everybody is tripping, the pats are the team of the decade, the chargers are stacked because of wise draft day trades, but you cant buy our draft heart.

what a game..
tom brady led drives before halftime to cut it to 4 and late in the game down 8..i was waiting for that shit..
rivers did pretty well and led them down the field on the final drive, but the the kicker missed it
and LT should know better than that..the cameras on you, you gotta shake players and coaches hands..maybe take a knee and say a player..and as for merriman, the roids will wear off by next season

Yeah...someone has to be the fall guy. But let me ask you this.

If you fire him...who are you going to hire that will be better? You shouldn't fire him just to fire him.

He's still the best available coach.

LT needs to shut the fuck up and quit whining about being disrespected on his home field. He's having a second press conference about this dumb shit. I mean enough is enough. Yeah they were gloating - welcome to sports, the spoils of war. Merriman sets himself up by doing the dance in the first place.

LOL @ people talking about not living in the past. What the fuck does anyone keep records for then? Might as well take Jerry Rice's records away, along with Emmitt Smith's rushing title, and LT's single season TD record, along with Peyton's single season passing TD record as well as every single SuperBowl ring and trophy ever earned.. because all that shit is "living in the past." Only fans of teams with a weak history would try to say such a dumbass thing.

Only dumbass fans of teams who have a shitty season use past super bowls as a scape goat for how sorry they team is in the present. So what your team won a super bowl 20 years ago, what does that have to do with how your team is today? And how many of those rings do you own?
