The last time The Chargers played the Pats was in the beginning of last season. Two different teams. Can't really base anything off of that.

Its gonna be chargers hands down. San Diego will minimize New Englands running game and leave it up to Brady which is not such a good idea given bradys past. But Merriman and Shaun Phillips will be bringing too much pressure on the outside. In San Diego's case New England will be very tough for Rivers to handle but Tomlinson will get things done no matter if its rushing or recieving. The x-factor here is Gates. CHargers win 24-17

did u come up with this theory all by yourself cause if you did it would make sense since anybody with any football knowledge knows that this game will not be a blow out by any means for the patriots.say Pats in a close game, but Pats in a blow out in our staduim facing the number 1 scoring offense/7 ranked defense????????????get your head outta your ass

Pat have looked like shit all year. I could care less they won a weak ass division, I could care less they won the wildcard round...it was a sorry ass jets team who stayed with them for awhile. Brady is good but overrated. When he plays a decent defense he is not that good. Hell he can't beat denver in or out of playoffs and the Chargers blitz more than us.

Chargers look good had some rest and don't have to travel across country. LT will run right through the pats d, and gates will keep rivers #'s respectable

how can you hate on one of the greatest player in nfl, and he aint a dick or cocky he is a nice guy with a possitive attitude toward everyone. well i agree with the 1st thing ya said about the pats winnin, and i hope lt get a flew or sumthin just for this game so we dont have to worry about him, hes the only thing that scares me on that team.

Yep the chargers are a lil less dainty than the minute-men. Plus they've never, ever, ever, ever,ever.........won the super bowl, so they get sympathy points. I'd say Chargers by at least 10.

little different of a situation, we're at home this time...we just had a week off to rest....our bye week was in week 3-so we played more games straight than any other team in the playoffs. also our starters should all be in place for this game, after the week off. doesnt seem like much, but it does make a difference
