Admitted pedophile who runs 'girl love' Web site turns up in California

Jack McClellan has turned his attention toward little girls in the Los Angeles area.
SEATTLE - Jack McClellan was a fixture at family events across Western Washington, lurking in the crowd and leering at little girls.
McClellan proudly promoted his perverted views on a Web site that gave tips on how to track children down.
But that site was shut down.
When KING 5 News confronted him two months ago, McClellan said, "At this point I'll really have to rethink everything, whether I'll bring it back at all and what the content of it might be."
Well, it's back, but this time McClellan has turned his attention toward little girls in the Los Angeles area.
The site, now hosted by the Canadian company Epifora, lists popular places to find little girls, from roller skating rinks to fast food restaurants, to a strawberry festival in Garden Grove, Calif., where an off-duty LAPD cop was caught taking pictures of a 5-year-old girl just last Saturday.
Mark Dornan, son of former congressman Bob Dornan, chased the suspect down in defense of his daughter.
"Was he going to abduct my daughter? What kind of a freak cop is he? He followed me for an hour and a half with my little blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl," said Dornan.
Jack McClellan admitted to KING 5 News that he is a pedophile.
On his site, McClellan gives that same California festival his highest rating, calling it a "great experience."
Whether the LAPD officer got his information from McClellan's site is still unknown, but police say it is something they will now be looking into.
"Well it's extremely dangerous … who knows what kind of kids they can prey on? If they're coordinating like that we have to work twice as hard to figure out what they're doing," said Sgt. Bob Bogue of the Garden Grove Police Dept.
We spoke with McClellan's mother in Arlington today. She said her son left home about 3 weeks ago but she had no idea where he was headed, nor did she have a way to get in touch with him.
She then chastised us for, in her words, "distorting and sensationalizing" what her son is doing.
It should be noted that John McClellan is not breaking any laws. However, lawmakers in Olympia are soon expected to discuss legislation that would make it illegal to post the personal information of a minor on a Web site if it poses a threat to the child's safety.
