Okay, you are finally done. I am not or never will say that Tech is perfect nor should he be treated like GOD. I am not bashing rappers to boost his talent either. I am doing that thing they call "Keepin' it real"... Why lie, why not say that it is retarded, but the explanation why Rakim is so great. I am not the person to deny anything. If he does something and I dont like it, guess what, I will let him know "what the fuck is this...." How many rappers do you know that can have a fucked up song, but still listened to just to see what he's saying?
There are too many rappers that come out and the single is the only good song on the whole fuckin' album until you stumble across an aiight song then there's two and your outta $17.83 cause he's shitty and you aint about to buy no more of that.
With Tech, there are a ton of tight tracks that half of these rappers can't do. Honestly, you never commended me for being right on anything, and I understand the whole thing about rappers going unheard of, but in his instance, he's moving up the ladder and once he's at the top, which he will be, niggas like Styles and his mini-me Camron or vise-versa will be a few steps behind.
Man I support a lot of rappers, and where I am from niggas hate Nelly because of him basically sellin out, but I give niggas chances time after time and if they aren't appealing then I toss em...
But I will say it again cat, can't no one do it like Tech, hell Jay-Z can't even freestyle....
And because of his affiliation to the Roc and LiL' Bow Wow's to So-So Def and lack of artist that are getting rotation because of their non-affiliation to whomevers Sesame Street Big label, they are showed no love. Cat, it's all about who you know and it's who you know who's dick they are riding.
And I will give a vote to Eminem for a battle cause he already has a large audience and they will smile whether he makes sense or not, and Tech, he's a hard nigga to try and cross without having your guts lyrically cleaned..

I agree with some of the shit you say, but not everybody does or will like Tech N9ne. SOME people would rather listen to Nelly. I think they are fuccing retarded but that's their choice. I'll say that again THEIR CHOICE. Of course Tech N9ne is more talented than a lot of artists out there but that doesn't mean shit. Of course nobody can do it like Tech N9ne, but nobody can do it like Scarface, E-40, Too Short and so on because that would be biting. Each of those rappers are unique in there own way and all very tight. It doesn't take away anything from the talent of other artists. I would much rather listen to Scarfaces album 'The Diary' than any Tech N9ne album. I still love Tech N9nes albums though. I'm playing the shit out of 'Absolute Power', I played the shit out of 'Anghellic', 'The Worst' and 'Calm Before The Storm'. Yet I still aknowledge the talent of other rappers and the OTHER tight albums being put out. Just because Tech N9ne is selling going multi-platinum is a good reason to bash those that are. Not everyone will like Tech N9ne, just like not everyone likes the popular artists like Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, Nelly and so on. You can't please everybody. You think Tech N9ne is great but there is someone out there who thinks he is wacc. Are they wrong? No, they just have DIFFERENT MUSICAL TASTES.

It's all about everyones opinion here. It's kinda funny. It seems when it comes to an argument about a rappers skill there are two types of people. One, the type who loves the artist and knows that they are much better then any other rapper out there. They love to express how great this rapper is because, well...most likley this rapper is tight as fuck. Sometimes these people can offend others by saying how much better this rapper is compared to "FILL IN THE BLANK OF SOMEONE ELSES FAVORITE RAPPER."
Now comes the 2nd type of person. Ahh, the person who feels that the original artist is good but also has respect for whoever the other person dissed and now we have battle of the wits. Both guys spit facts and shit about both rappers and where does it get us? Nowhere...You can't prove to anyone that a certain rapper is better then a certain rapper because its all about personal taste in music.
So on a personal note...Tech N9ne, though not a God in anyway and not to dick ride or any shit like that, (dick riding is a stupid ass term that is used too loosley. If you complament someone you immediatly are called a dick rider which is the most moronic thing i've ever heard...people need to learn the definition.) but he can tear up any rapper today. His fast pace rapping, lyrics that sometime can rhyme every other word which make you go...damn that was tight, and also his creativeness in putting together the lyrics so they tell a story is what makes him on top of the game.
As for the whole Tech N9ne vs. Rakim. Well its two styles of rapping... Rakim, like I said gets my respect because he's been in the game for so long and he does have a few songs where I had to listen to like 30 times in the same day over and over because his lyrics were so amazing. BUT, his voice doesn't have enough emotion, in my opinion, to keep you interested in the song for very long.
Anywho...point is, arguging over the internet isn't gonna solve anything, you'll probably just make some new enemies on the msg board which probably won't help very much =P

battle rap is stupid. It's who can put together the best rhyme without taking the time to really think it over before you spit it out. Generally most of the shit the rappers spit is already written stuff prepared for whenever they need to battle...and they just keep it hidden for when they one day need to battle. Listen to eminem's shit at the rap olympics...He will rap like a nutcase for like 15 seconds and then go back to "Yea you don't wanna fuck with us, cuz we bus and we cus and we don't give a fuck." or some lame shit that you come up with right there on the spot. There are some good battle rap artists i guess, but I'd rather listen to someone who puts time into their lyrics and makes sure their shit sounds perfect. TECH N9NE!
