When we was both signed to Tommy Boy we would do shows all over the place with them cats, and they was puttin us up on major game, plus we was already fans of them cats since they first classic album Livin Like Hustlers. The letter was cool but, lol why are u stessin so hard to get ur name in that mag. who cares its THE SOURCE!! c'mon who cares what they say as the top 115 peeps are. honestly ask anyone and see if they care about what the source thinks are the 115 best ever.

Where was this article published ? I think more artists should post shit like this. ATL is the SHIT. Just imagine if E-40 did an article on all the people he's influenced in rap..... there's a lot more to rap than the source.

Benzino and Trina and mase made the list ? What a fuckin shame.

Yeah, the source is a big magazine. It sells here, its the only magazine relating to hip hop that you can find easily. They got xxl here and in about 94 4080 magazine was here for a month... Good issue though, with Paris on the front, trashing a cop car. hahahaha. I don't think the source is selling to well at the moment though. Full of shit, I haven't got an issue in about 5 years. Back in the day they used to have some decent shit in there but around about 97 they fell off in a major way.

Funny I should read this, I was just reading an article in a xxl magazine the other day about ATL on new years, just walking around attracting the ladies. Really good article. I haven't heard much from them lately, I didn't think too much of their last album, the track with JAYO was knockin though. I understand why you would want your name in the source but as someone said earlier its all about politics and sales in that magazine, its like all the teen music magazines with brittany spears on the cover and shit except they got nelly and ja rule, its all sales...
