EDIT: cuz some of you people cant think on your own, Steve Young took over for Joe Montana, he had little success in his previous teams, but once he got the starting job, he flipped his script with a team that was well established he turned out to be pretty damn good.

Aaron Rodgers is starting this year, taking the job from someone who is considered one of the best QBs to every play, Brett Farve. Rodgers has little experience but has played and did well brining the Packers close to a comeback win against the cowboys. He has a well established team to work with coming in to the 08' season

So....could he be the next steve young? (mimicking his career)

this is not even comparable! Rodgers hasnt played for shit. when Young took over, he had already been a starter in Tampa an in the usfl.

Aint no way he will be good as Young, and Green Bay fans will be lucky if he's a decent QB!! Well see though!! Got Em!!

I see what you mean, a qb taking over for a great qb, i think he can, pull a steve young like career following montana leaving

your forgetting that young had great receivers. i'm not trying to downplay young's greatness cause he was an amazing QB but it's better to step into a job full of weapons. and young was the greatest scramble QB ever that didnt kill dogs so that helped to make plays. i think rogers will be good and may even lead his team to a SB eventually but i'm not sure this year. if he has the confidence he'll eventually grow into early then the possibility is there that he'll be a very good QB 1st year in. so any GB fans on here? what are y'all takes on it

yeah well i wasnt trying to state a fact i was trying to state my opinion. remember just because u think something doesnt mean it's aways correct and dsame with me. it's all opinions homie
