your forgetting that young had great receivers. i'm not trying to downplay young's greatness cause he was an amazing QB but it's better to step into a job full of weapons. and young was the greatest scramble QB ever that didnt kill dogs so that helped to make plays. i think rogers will be good and may even lead his team to a SB eventually but i'm not sure this year. if he has the confidence he'll eventually grow into early then the possibility is there that he'll be a very good QB 1st year in. so any GB fans on here? what are y'all takes on it
LOL

damn, I thought favre was gonna stick around one more year and try to win it this year

I think rodgers will be very decent, maybe even good. he was pretty coo when he played this season, I don't know about leading his team to the bowl, but they might still be playoff bound if he keeps it consistent

not really the same situation though. young was montana's backup for years and rodgers just recently came out of the draft with Alex Smith so it's not a good comparison.

true but there has to be an exception cause it was favre. this is why they picked this guy up so when favre retired he would come on in.

We'll see. Favre is a gunslinger; the man had a strong arm. Rodgers is more of a quick release, short pass West Coast offense type of QB.

I think Rodgers can flourish in thWC offense esp. with the skill players he's surrounded by. If not, he's a bust. Hopefully he doesnt turn out to be like Joey "Loser" Harrington.

But I'm very optimistic about Aaron Rodgers.
