a rod is moving to 3rd...im happy for 2 reasons on this trade even though i hate the yankees.

1) that mutt soriano is out of there...on of the many yankees whose ass i couldnt stand...good luck ever being a winner again in texas asshole.

2)no pitching is going to equal the chemistry and talent that boomer, clemens, pettite, and mussina had...sure they got kevin brown...but isnt kevin brown on the DL all but a month or two out of each baseball season...haaa.

steinbrennners going to loose his mind when these fucks dont go all the way.

ASKg-You don't think George will go out and get 1 or 2 pitchers around the break? You are sadly mistaking my friend.Yankees 2004 Champions?

Vasquez is dope aswell!!
you cant just put together a cast of all stars and expect them to take it all...the lakers tried that and hows it working out for them...ill take the yankees starting rotation of last year over any new staff they put together ...you cant overlook the fact that they lost pettite, clemens, and wells, pitchers who pretty much in everyones mind were yankees, not to mention some of the yankees all time greats imo.

Naw ask I will take the Yankees 2004 staff over last years staff!! Peep game!!

Last years staff
R. Clemens
A. Pettitte
M. Mussina
D. Wells
J. Weaver

This years staff
K. Brown
G. Maddux
M. Mussina
J. Vasquez
J. Contreras

This years staff is easily better!! And how dare u compare the great Yankees to these hasbeen Fakers!! They brought in a washed up Malone & a decent Payton whole the Yankees brought in the best player in baseball in ARod, 1 of the best pitchers of alltime in Maddux, one of the most dominant pitchers in K. Brown, not to mention the great Sheffield!! Plus baseball is different then hoop!! The chemistry has to be greater in hoop then in baseball!! The Yankees will dominate!! GOT EM!!

maddux went to chicago...i dont trust brown not to break down halfway through the season...contreras started unraveling in last years playoffs, hes not a big game pitcher...i wouldnt trust him w any type of game on the line...its all downhill for him, remember I said it when it happens...we gotta wait and see if vasquez lives up to the pressure plaiyng in new york brings...its the biggest stage in baseball...as for me comparing the 3 pitchers that are gone to all time yankee greats...they were the key in the yankees being contenders throughout...theyre modern day yankee greats like it or not...as for a rod...i think the yankees would be better of having maddux alone and no a rod...this yankee club w no a rod will still score 4 or 5 runs a game, w that type of run suport maddux would be in step for another 15+ wins...the team w a rod and no maddux...sure you got more run support...

what happens when vasquez chokes on the big stage?
what happens when brown goes down for 2 months?
what happens when contreras proves me right and busts this year?

what happens if the yanks dont win a championship...will a rod cybaby bitch his way to another contender?

a lot of baseball insiders are reporting that joe torre wont be back next year...who will steinbrenner blame when its obvious that its torres work that keeps this club going?

these yankees aint winning the whole enchilada...i put money on that shit...anybody.

that b ball analogy was a waste of typing...i agree.
