what is your opinion on this tho?

I think we need to start checking ourselves on using the N-Word so freely....I myself will not use that word ever again..I even told a few of my black homies to stop calling me the N-Word...they said they gonna try to stop using it around me..but they wont promise me that they can..

As you read this article keep in mind what took place New Year's Eve in downtown San Francisco. It was full blown race riot between Blacks and Asians. The cause, Asian party-goers using the N word and being stepped to about it. The Asians reacting to it like 'what did they did they do wrong'? The altercation deteriorated into people on both sides calling for back up and pulling out guns, with racial epithets being hurled the entire time. What's even sadder is that I'm sure many of the records and party-goers were tossing that word about with reckless abandon and now are upset that groups have appropriated it. What's taking place in LA right now is even more insidious. Right now the article is focusing on Harbor Gateway neighborhood outside of South central, but all last years Blacks were being killed in Highland Park right outside Pasadena when Latin Gang members linked up with Arayan white supremecist gang members

I think asians do use that shit way to much.... Asian's have always tried to acted black IMO, with there style and talk.

Might as well just say fuck it and quit using all together. It causes to much trouble and sounds stupid anyway.

Black people even use it to much IMO.... Kill it and that way I don't have to hear shit about it anymore.

the artist that use it so freely in their music and allow others to use it or ourselves for using it around others or our black homies that give us a pass to use it?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if black people use the word in everyday vocab then they should not feel offended when other people use it too. the word is disrespectful to not only the person saying it, but the person who its said to. I stopped using the word more than 10 years ago (fuckit, I'm old) except when reciting song lyrics....but I still rarely say it then....


as for the asian thing, its funny cuz hella square ass asians or asians that don't ever kick it with black people hella use the word.

but I'm sure in this so called "race riot" that not only did the asians say nigga, but the black people did too....and probably said something like "you a chink ass nigga" or someshit like that.



and anyone who says "nigga" and "nigger" are 2 different words needs to be shot

you can't blame anyone but yourself. its up to you to stop saying the word, not anyone else. musicians and actors have a duty to cut that word out of their vocabulary in their songs, movies, or shows. but its the fans that continue it. if every rapper stopped saying nigga, the amount of people saying it would drop drastically

White people used it to degrate black people, black people turned it into a pop term, then everybody else starts using it, black people get offended

Most of my boys are black, an they like fuckin with me, tellin me to say it sometimes an shit an jus joke around thinkin its funny, and they dont take it offensive at all...
Personally, I dont use the word... I dont like saying it, it seems disrespectful for me to say it... All these white/azn/mex kids drop it all the time no matter what they dress like or whatever... I see straight skater whiteboys with shaggy hair talkin bout 'hey nigga' an that shit jus pisses me off.

If black people wanna use it, that's their business... How are you gonna tell them to stop sayin somethin thats really hurting nobody (unless you think deeper, and then its only hurting themselves) MAybe??

I dunno, I'm kinda iffy on if everyone should stop saying it or what...
But it deffinately needs to get put in check

the truth is.. some black people will never stop usin' that word.. and some blacks will get offended when they overhear a bunch of non-blacks sayin' it.. that's just how it is.. RIGHT NOW.. some non-blacks get a n card from they homies.. but they can only use it when they are around those homies... and some will find out the hard way..

on a side note.. i just seen this movie called 6 brothers in a cadillac.. if you guys get a chance.. peep it.. it's basically about the word.. in fact.. it would end this whole thread if you all seen it.

I hate how people think using it with the ending of "er" is wrong but saying it with "ga" is ok, when it's like ..."do you even know what word you're saying in general???"
