In my neighborhood, when the Vietnamese got here after the war, they were going through the trash to get recyclables for money.

Used to be climbing in the big ass dumpster with a stretched out coathanger to poke them cans. I hella used to wanna slam the door down on them, but that shit ain't right. They're just trying to make ends meet.

This old ass man used to jump in there while what looked like his 6 year old grandaughter would wait with a bag to catch what he collected. She's probably like 25 now and some success story because of that shit.
