I hear this expression a lot, especially in songs where someone says they're doing 90 MPH pushing their ride and what not. I myself do about 80-85 MPH average on the freeway, 100-110 MPH coming/going on 680/280/101 during early morning hours.

What's so extreme about 90?

Doing 90 in a bucket is an accomplishment. lol...but that's about it. Nothing special if your car isn't a piece of shit. Even a 1990 Honda Civic can get up to 90 without much of a problem. I've maxed out my car at like 140+, once, and will never do it again because there's really no point.

The fastest I tent to drive is 75-80 in a 70 zone...they got planes all over I-90 watching mother fuckers that speed.

i tend to drive 70 ish because i have this theory that im not gonna get pulled over for doin 70 , thats damn near everyones average speed . ill do 75-80 for maybe a couple seconds haha , 90? , pleaseeeeeee .

yeah i was thinkin about the same shit a while back cuz i do hear a lot of people sayin that shit and i was thinkin 90 ain't shit... even Pac on how do u want like "doin 80 on the freeway police catch me if you can" yeah they can and will catch you if you doin 80 on the freeway... shit a beat up ass motorhome will probably pass you by if you doin 80..... i've heard pac say that shit a few times about doin 90 "even tho i know the cops behind me..hit the weed and uh.. i continue doin 90" ..... me personally i got a ticket doin 90 in a 65 out there in pleasonton on the way back to the valley from the bay shit hit me off for like 300.. but now i find myself on 99 from like Merced to Modesto hittin 108 until my governor hits.. i hate that shit..... but it probably keeps me a little safer.... knowin me i would push it to the max so yeah governors might be a good thing

I think if people are gonna talk about driving fast they should talk about speeds that are more believable...
