Get the fuck out of here with this shit.....

1.This isnt 1918 we are way more medically advanced so you cant compare now to then, thats just stupid.

2.All 20 cases in the U.S report that they are doing very well and are expected to be ok.

3.Mexico healthcare system is alot different from ours and the people that died there from the swine flu most likely didnt get proper medical care.

4. The only way this could get ugly if there was mass out break and we couldnt provide or didnt have enough equipment to treat eveybody.
TRIPPIN..what's your medical background??

1) MEDICINE CAN'T DO SHIT IF THE VIRUS CONTINUALLY MUTATES..which it already has started to do

2) The virus in the U.S. is not the same exact strain in Mexico that has killed all those people..like i said in my post, the swine virus is expected to have been in circulating in Mexico for months, and thus has mutated and become more deadly..as time progresses, the U.S. cases WILL become fatal..

3) Not necessarily true..this is killing healthy young adults..

4) EXACTLY

It's one big fucking plot to change the world, I'm telling you. It's all fucking planned.

Ever since 9/11, the media blows everything up. Whether or not their connected with the Gov't, their still instilling FEAR into people.

FUCK the B.C. and A.D. dating system. Shit should now be Pre-9/11, Post-9/11

Shit ain't right, I'm telling you. Keep on getting manipulated if you don't believe shit ain't gonna crack soon. Obama is the PERFECT face. Once again a black man is exploited by the higher elite.

if it has anything to do with mexico, it isnt terrorists or pirates, its drug wars

see every region has its own patsy

middle east and europe - terrorism
africa and asia - either triads or pirates
south and central america - drug wars
new york - mob war

etc...

A virus doesn't only mutate to become more deadly. For example, many of the new strains of HIV that we have become aware of are much less deadly than the original strain.

In fact, it is in the best interest of a virus to not kill off all its hosts, so that many strains will actually find an equilibrium where they are in balance between killing and living in a symbiotic relationship with their host.

That is not to say virus don't become more deadly, but it can work both ways and your posts makes it seem like they ONLY become more deadly.

What does this mean exactly?

true..but the consensus is that this particular strain will become more virulent here in the U.S., which helps explain the more serious cases in Mexico..

I want to get swine flu.
Then I'll make a thread and get like 42,000 props. Maybe even get a few days off of work.

Remember how scary West Nile was.... how about bird flu or SARS. This shit is dumb as fuck. People are dying every day on some preventable ass shit. Why worry ourselves about some shit we can really control.
They said on the news to use hand sanitizer and don't touch your face. Nothing like 21st century technology. Clean hands the cure all. lol

all the conspiracy theories aside, from a medical standpoint this shit is no joke..i'm an RN and trust me this has the hospitals shook..the swine flu is far more serious than bird flu, since it is easily transmitted from human to human..it is almost guaranteed that the cases in the U.S. will become far more serious and we will have people dying like they are in mexico..this shit just hit the U.S., it's thought to have been circulating in mexico for a few months, and thus the virus has gotten the chance to mutate and become more deadly..

Europe has already cautioned about travel to the U.S., let alone Mexico..the flu outbreak in 1918 killed 40 MILLION worldwide..in all honestly, i think this has the same potential, especially if the virus continues to mutate which will render drugs such as tamiflu ineffective..vaccines will take time to mass produce and won't due shit if this thing continually mutates..and in this global economy, we rely on other countries for medical equipment/supplies -- i'm sure every country will become very selfish in a time of crisis..

i know the SICC is full of comedians and conspiracy theorists -- which is fine, i find it hilarious..but definitely be cautious out there and protect your loved ones..it's affecting and killing healthy young adults, which is a big clue that this could be the big one..
The 1918 pandemic is estimated to have affected up to one billion people: half the world's population at the time. that would mean it killed somewhere between 2-5% of people infected. Its not like everyone who got it died. its just that so many people got it, that the death numbers were inflated.

EXACTLY! They use big numbers to keep us worried. What they don't tell you is the percentage. "Yea, this shit went around before...killed 40 Million people worldwide". HOLY SHIT! is probably the first response. THEN you sit back and think, GOD DAMN...40 MILLION PEOPLE isn't even half of the United States...not even CLOSE to half of the United States, let alone the entire world. 2-5% is SMALL! BUT, they keep the fear circulating by leaving that part out.

I think it's funny that every time something is going on in the political arena, a disease pops up...or something bad happens somewhere else that keeps our focus off of politics until the shit has died down.
