i saw all the rave people heading to the cow palace with their knee high furry boots and glow braclets and necklaces.
It seems like the police were the promoters and organizers of this event. turned out to be a good sting for them

The raver girls were the best part. Raves in Chi-town were dope.

Shit ceased to be a rave to me when they started having them at legit venues. When they stopped being a way for DJ's and "promoters" to make their real living (selling drugs) and were being held in arenas and shit.

Rave should be in some obscure industrial part of town in a warehouse or at least middle of nowhere in a barn or something.

To say raves or just big events like these are "gay" just goes to show how close minded and immature people can be. Life ain't always about Rap music. Where the hell do you guys think the new form of Rap club music you hear today got it's ideas from, electronic dance music like Trance. The sawtooth lead is copied from dance music like Trance. Atleast, I personally don't revolve all my musical choices around Rap music, I listen to pretty much everything and try to comprehend it's sound. If anything, electronic music is the most classy form of music when it comes to clubbing. Go to the island of Ibiza and all they play is house, trance, just classy hypnotic sounding rhythms n shit. Anything like Rap, Rock or just shit with too much vocals brings negative vibes and immature people. I don't know, I guess you just have to be able to comprehend the sound of this music, otherwise you'll just think it's "gay." Musical wise, shit like house & trance has much more variation, it's not as repetative as rap, it's always changing and manipulating as the song progresses. It keeps you wondering what's coming next, it's unpredictable. So that's another thing I like about electronical music.
