Were either of them injured? It takes time. Ben Roethlisburger blew the league up when he was in his rookie year, look at him now. Give it time, Vernon will turn out better than any other TE in the league.

That's a pretty big statement...especially since he hasn't played a full year.

It's just my opinion. Like I said he's physically superior to almost everyone in the league and he has the attributes to be better than anybody at the TE position.
