No he's not.
This was his one great game this season. I want to see Reggie succeed because he's a native Californian...but being in the current situation that he's in, with Duece running the ball pretty well, and him not fully catching on the their running scheme yet, we haven't seen the best of him...
A little better? The 3rd down playcalling and redzone playcalling are absolutely horrible.
You get down on the team, and in this case Alex Smith, way too easily. You're bitching about him throwing the ball away after scrambling.. That's what he's told to do. They're not trying to let Alex control the game. The Niners' gameplan is for him to go out and do small things while the run game sets the offense up. They need to show more confidence in Smith in order for him to have the opportunities to make big plays.
And another thing.. Every QB in the league misses receivers when they're open. Chances are the receiver is open on every play, but that doesn't mean they're open when the QB has his eyes on them.

And about the refs.. Isn't that idiot ref the same faggot that ruined the raiders' play last week? Dude's a fuck up and needs to be fired.
As for the Alex Smith tackle.. There was no conclusive evidence that Alex touched that dirty-looking bastard until they blew up the video, and that was well after the dumbass ref decided to overturn the fumble. He did make the right call, but by rule he shouldn't have made it because there was no substantial evidence that Smith touched him because of the bad replays. Refs need to start doing their fuckin jobs the way they're told to do it.
Either way the Niners deserved to lose.

You 49er fans need to stop making excuses. Alex Smith fucked up... made Mike McKenzie look like a damn pro-bowler. And Alex did trip McKenzie up, how in the hell do you think he tripped? Y'all think he tripped over his own two feet? That fool was about to score but Alex saved the day.
