Like I said Alex's problem is NOT his accuracy, but it's his INCONSISTENT play. He has shown he can be accurate and can make plays, but he doesn't do it consistently enough. He has lead us to 10 wins and NFC West title so he's not horrible.
And who exactly do we get to play QB if we dump Alex? Tolzien and Kaep are not ready.

he's inaccurate and inconsistent....I don't hate him as much as before, but he is not the answer for next year...
I know Tolzien or Kaep are not ready, but there will be FA QB's next season that are better than Alex Smith ..

we get off the raiders subject bc if you listen to knbr you can at least appreciate this "at least your not that guy" moment, where the raiders consistently suck.
overall we need to get our shyt together, the cards balled out today, props, but how the fuck can we not pick up qa 3rd and 1. why the fuck is our red zone play calling sooooo damn ugly, we need to step are shyt up and ball out against the steelers otherwise i dont seeing doing shyt in the playoffs, if we cant score on the fucking cards how are we gonna compete in the point scoring contest against the saints? i dont think grant was only to blame on that tackle, looked more to me like goldson fucked on that one, but that timing was good, they got one on us.
the ones for fits are not acceptable, how the hell do you not bump that dude at the line,?? everytime he gets off cleanly skeleton chucks it to him. and on the screen for a td rogers is playing backed off on the end zone and still back pedals on the snap! wtf!@!! we gotta get it together

There's only one qb that looks like he'll be available that i'd take a shot at and that's Peyton Manning. But even Peyton is old coming off crazy neck fusion surgery and has played in the same system his entire career so it's too huge of a gamble. Best bet is to sacrifice our draft picks this year and in the near future and get Andrew Luck.
