Either way, you drink liquor because you can't readily buy yourself alcohol, and having somebody buy you hard liquor goes farther because you can get drunk off it numerous times. Trust me, when you reach 21 and surpass it, and you can walk into the liquor store any buy your own shit, chances are you'll be drinking beer.
Well yeah, I mean, buying liquor is a given. It was more along the lines that the kid's not gonna down crazy amounts of liquor unless he's a lush. The beer theory is in tact because you spend your hard earned money on shit you can savor and enjoy. I buy liquor, too, but most of the time it's for parties and shit. Beer is always readily available in my apartment, but liquor not so much.
your right. before i had friends that were 21+ i was just having people get me bottles, cuz its the easy thing to do. but now i just go in the liquor store with them and pick out whatever drink i feel like gettin. im sure ill like beer more in the future, but itll just take a while to get used to the taste
