watching it right now..i'm very happy that so far it has been successful. the first miner to be rescued tonight is tied with my dads submarine crew record for being submerged for 68 days. by tomorrow the other half will beat his record for 69.

very touching experience witnessing this tonight. hopefully there will be no complications.

If I owned that mine, I would be pissed if these dudes weren't down there workin that whole time
IF YOU OWNED THIS MINE, YOUD DO WHATEVER YOU COULD TO HELP THESE GUYS OUT..

BECAUSE BEST BELIEVE THERES A LAWSUIT SOMEWHERE LURKING IN ALL THIS

1. SOMEONE HAS TO PAY FOR ALL THIS SHIT

2. SOMEONE FUCKED UP AND THEREFORE IS LIABLE... JOB HAZARD OR NOT

Every single one of these fools is finna be rich cuz of this. I read that they are all getting invited to presidential palaces, full paid lavish vacations, movie/book deal payouts, and job offers waiting for them.

I don't know the legalities of it all in Chile but I'd assume you're aware of the occupational hazards being a miner. It's not like this is the first time this has happened. Is someone's family gonna sue the police department when a dude on the bomb squad is blown up too? It comes with the territory. You do things to try and minimize the risk but it doesn't always work. It's a dangerous job
