I still have a big paper bag of cassettes - but not cassette player to check whats on some of them. I been thinking of getting a walkman on ebay, just be able to transfer them to mp3, and store them.

We use to record demo's on cassette karaoke machines... using head phones as a mic. Little known fact, you can plug a headphone in the mic input and use as a mic - least the older ones. haha

I used to keep all my tapes in a plastic Safeway bag that used to sit in the middle of the bench seat of my Cutlass Supreme. Just randomly grabbed a tape and slapped it in.

^ Yea, most those tapes is for collectors, and come with a download included. Kinda like the lp's selling now days.

I still really like that concept

I'm done buying CDs for the most part. I have around 1250 and seeing I'm moving pretty soon I'm going to whittle that down to about 200-300 of my favorite and rare ones. I want to get rid of them while places still buy used CDs and get some money for them.

I've taken up to buying/collecting vinyl in the last few years and that's what I'm going to be grabbing from now on minus the occasional cd. I've still been buying some tapes (got around 300 of them) because some artists I listen to only put out their stuff on tape or vinyl DIY style.

Everything else, I download from the net for free.
