Pac was a multi dementional rapper but he was from the East Coast. Period!!! Pac claimed The Bay then did 2 Live & Die In LA. He was a bandwagon rider. His first rap name was MC New York. He was born & raised in the East. He didn't move 2 Cali until he was 17 years old. That says it all. Just cuz he moved 2 Cali & got turned out by some niggaz in The Jungles don't mean he's from here. I move 2 LA when I was 17 & my uncles from LA gave me some game but I still repped N.Cali cuz thatz where I was from. I was born in LA & moved 2 N.Cali when I was 4 yrs old, came back 2 LA when I was 17. Aint no way I could claim LA after being raised up north. That would be some fake shit.

ur right it doesnt mean he's from the bay or from LA..thats just where he identified himself with the most, he loved everything about the westcoast and it loved him back. pac obviousley felt stronger connections to other areas then where he spent the early parts of his life. yeah he was born on the eastcoast and was raised there but it obviousley didnt influence his life as much as the west coast did. u gotta get in where u fit in and thats wat pac did, he loved the westcoast and the people out here and thats y he claimed it. I say you are what you know and rep and since he stayed in tha bay and made music in tha bay and repped tha bay hes bay. But also most tha time he repped west coast.
