Does anybody consider 2pac to be a bay area rapper, he was born in Baltimore, lived in New York, and has mostly been recognized by America as a Westcoast/LA rapper what do yall think?
Oakland. I forgot what DVD I seen it on, but he said it himself even though he was born in Brooklyn and lived in Baltimore, he got gamed from Oakland. If I remember what DVD it was I'll post it.

Yea, I've always said he was a bay rapper because when I started listening to him he was repping Oakland. He's repped Oakland most of his public career if you think about it...
didnt he go to school out in Marin? he worked with alot of bay area rappers back in the early 90's...if im not mistakeing 2pac produced mac malls ghetto theme video. was in a group with ray luv(never heard the album, dont even know if it really exist) was close to digital underground.
can some confirm this, i rembering reading a interview that e40 had a whole album with 2pac but was never going to realease due to his passing. i know for shure that cbo also said he had some tracks record with pac.
its really hard to classify what he repped he was all around type of dude he had offical work with almost everybody.
ACTUALLY HE FIRST CAME OUT AS A MEMBER OF THE GROUP STRICTLY DOPE, WITH GROUP MEMBERS RAY LUV AND MIKE COOLEY WHEN HE WAS LIVING IN MARIN. I HAVE MOST OF THE TRACKS THAT THEY RECORDED.
PAC WAS ACTUALLY REPPIN MARIN CITY BACK THEN. WHEN HE MOVED TO OAKLAND HE AUDITIONED FOR A SPOT IN DIGITAL UNDERGROUND AND THE REST IS HISTORY.
HE MAY NOT BE FROM THE BAY, BUT HIS CAREER WAS DEFINATELY STARTED IN THE BAY AREA.
