if this goes thru it fucks up the whole market for players in soccer. the highest amount paid for a player previous to this (i believe) was Robinho's signing @ Man City (the same club offering the 271 million euros) and that was 80 million euros. If Robinho is worth 80, Kaka worth 271, how do you put a price tag on Ronaldo, Pato, Ibrahimovic, Giovinco, Messi etc.

in this economy i cant believe a club can spend a half a billion dollars on one player. they could sign a whole team of up and comers for that much money. incredible
