One love to every muh fucka coming outta Stocktown reppin hard on that hip hop shit! I live out here in Illinois now but I remember rapping for the homies out there in Stocktown every chance I got. Come on homie. Stockton has up in coming artist & artist/producers/groups etc. that work hard but don't have anything to call there own. The awards show is for the cats out in the 209 grinding tryna make something happen. Even if they aren't blowing up there are people who work hard out there.
That's like if u work @ Home Depot & get employee of the month. Its not a big deal outside The Home Depot where u work @ but its not really meant to be either. But @ least the cats @ that particular store appreciatte & acknowledge the hard work you've done for the company. Same thing with this award show & the people of 209 who support these artist.
