Chillious has been rapping in the bay area underground scene for over 15 years. His music has been featured on KMEL and KZSU (the Drum) in the early 90's, and most recently on KPFA with the Davey D show, as well as other national stations. Signed by Chuck D of Public Enemy to his record label Slam Jamz in 2002, Chillious has opened up for PE as well as Dilated Peoples and Blackalicious in places like the legendary Fillmore. Chillious performed at the most recent Cannabis concert in front of City Hall in San Francisco with other acts such as San Quinn. He also had shows recently at Studio Z and the Octopus Lounge as well as a ton of other gigs around the bay area over the years. His music is in all the record stores all across the bay. Chillious' music can be described as progressive rap. As in he tries to make something different with every song. Chillious retired from the grind in mid 2004 to work on other creative projects, this new and final album called Rhyme Physics contains 21 of Chillious' best songs recorded in the last 2 years. All songs have been completely remixed with never before heard songs as well. It's the epitome of quality independent work.
