2-way radios???

Not really sure how these work if someone could help me out that would be cool. Are they like walkie talkies? I was lookin at a pair with a range of 7 miles for $30 shipped. Let me know if that's a good deal and what not. Also if you're talkin to the other person with the 2-way will others be able to hear you?

Basically I want the functions of a walkie talkie w/o hearing others. Just me and my partner with the other walkie talkie can communicate with eachother. Can I get this with 2-ways?

I say you and your partner should get cell phones with walky talkies. that is the best way to go. I got that shit and it works hella good. I have like 5 friends with that shit.
