STIK GILATINE................The Doctor of Decapitation. The Sultan of Slice. The Purveyor of Punishment.
Born and bred on the East Side of The Zae aka San Jose, Stik Gilatine developed his rap persona through the eyes of the "every man." Honing his style, though, proved to be effortless and he splashed that shit with more flavor than Baskin-Robbins doused in sugar and deep fried in molasses. From listening to the likes of Mac Dre to Outkast, he learned early-on that one thing and one thing only matters: POWER. Beginning in the mid-90's, behind the mic is where he found it.....and let it flourish.
Starting on the hallowed 4-track with his original crew, NMT, the world caught the first glimpse of Gilatine's blade. Although sharp, it was not yet ready to annihilate completely. Through dropping more and more tapes and forging an alliance with his post-NMT clique, CLX2, the sword of Stik swung steadily.
Today, Stik Gilatine is a shining star on San Jose's very own Metal Mouth Records. Delivering heat on a slew of mixtapes over the last few years, he is now poised to massacre the masses via the arrival of his street album "Block Choppen." If you ain't gone dumb, you can't get smart. Beyond hyphy. Beyond street. Beyond the moment. Stik Gilatine: Choppin' heads off and laughing at you.
