I CAN'T REALLY EXPLAIN WHAT IT IS..MAYBE THIS COAST IS JUST CURSED OR SOMETHING...EVERYBODY EVERYWHERE IS RAPPIN',THAT AIN'T WHAT IT'S ABOUT..AIN'T NOBODY PUSHIN' UNITS LIKE BEFORE...AIN'T 2 MANY PEOPLE SELLIN MORE THAN 10,000....IT'S ALL REPETITIVE..NIGGAS IS TRYIN' BUT BY THE TIME SOMETHING CRACCS SADAAM MIGHT BLOW US ALL UP..
Real talk.

Maine O of 11/5 in Xplosive magazine:

"I blame it on the lack of backers (big labels, companies, distribution). Guys willing to put up the money to back guys like us. The East Coast, you dont have that problem, now in the South you dont have that problem. As soon as a guy some out and he's got a heavy hitter on his video, then thats it, hes platnium. Theres not a lot of that out here, Big Companies West, and we've been selling records just as long as they have. 4 albums and we been on over 100 projects11/5 has always delieverd some of the best rap money can buy."

it's been a few times i sat in my office cursin brandon, i musta felt like
Killa Tay because I was read to go up there trippin but then it hit me the
only reason I really felt like that was because he was a young cat.

As a label you get the runaround with all your distributors (unless you
movin major weight) - but I didn't wanna go down to Houston and smack Robert
Guillerman up, I aint never felt like slappin Leonard Singer @ ADI, but
Brandon was a younger street cat - in a position you would expect an older
dude to hold. It made a nigga take everything more personal.

In the end when everybody knew Bayside was givin niggas the axe, he made
sure we got our lil chips that Bayside owed us, so fuck it.

I don't know homeboy personally, but on the business end - yeah things
coulda been better but that can be said about every distributor. Like I said
he got us our chips and that what really counts...2 me

if this was ebay I would give dude a neutral feedback.

aint nobody gonna do nothin for free, but if you gettin somethin in equal trade or whatever, its worth it right??? and people aint doin videos mostly cuz to get a video, a quality video shot and edited would cost the price of doin a whole album just about.... mafuccaz be tryin to grip each other..... unless you know of somone doin good videos at a reasonable price, i been wantin to do one for bout 3 years, but folx is unreasonable on they prices, i just assume, press up a gang of flyers and snippets and posters...... my cuzzo jaz did a video that came out alright, but it cost dude like 5 g'z and the shit aint even on cmc, or bet or nothin, and the quality wise it wasnt worth it....... its like you said earlier as well as myself... mafuccaz gettin greedy and they keepin shit to self.... its like if we gonna get movin we need to try and come together in some sort of way...... for instance if i want a verse from you, but aint got the right ends, maybee you want a couple my beats for your next project etc.... shit like that.... but at the same time, dont just go doin that for everyone witta beat.... or studio.... i feel anything you can get ya name on that looks to have promise its worth comin a lil short then havin nothin at all.... its the whole thing for instance if you charge $2000 a verse, but cellski charge $300..... he gonna do alot more shit for $300 then you may have 1 or 2 cats pay that 2 gz.... ya feel?? this is just an example....

hmm the reason the sco ain't bossed up like it should be, isn't lack of talent...it's street ego's
every cat named from dude that's from the sco, is from the jects or a block from them, mothafuckas ain't ridin around in Lexxo's poppin' collas and sayin LET'S NETWORK...i don't know how it is in other places...but cats is dying out here, rappers and all...it's hard for mothafuckas to let they guard down for NETWORKIN...

that's why major labels ain't fuckin with us, cus we hifey, but shit, that's us...
we got more talent then anywhere else in my opinion...we just gotta calm down the street shit

It's like tha high skool B-Ball players who go to tha NBA & dunno nothing about tha business side & get screwed over......I mean they have MAJOR talent but get fucked over cuz they never went to college to see how tha game really works......

Dats how it is here, Bay Area got MAJOR talent.....But get screwed over on tha business side cuz their hustle's limit is tha streets.....They just don't got tha knowledge.....

I LOOK AT IT LIKE THIS...CELLSKI IS WORTH WAY MORE THAN $300...IF THAT'S WHAT HE GETS DOWN 4 THAT'S COOL..BUT YOU'VE GOT 2 UNDERSTAND IT AIN'T BEIN BIGHEADED IF YOU CHARGE $2000...I'M NOT INTERESTED IN JUST BEING ON ANYONES ALBUM....IF THEY OFFER A RAPPER WITH A WELL KNOWN NAME 300..THEY MUST NOT BE WORKING WITH MUCH OF A BUDGET..& I'M SURE THEY WILL MAKE MUCH MORE THAN THAT JUST BY HAVING THE NAME ON THERE..THAT'S WHY THE GAME IS FUCCED UP..BEFORE THE BALLERS WERE CONTROLLING THE GAME & IT WAS WORTH IT..THE MUSIC WAS PURE..NOW EVERYBODY & THEY MAMA WANT 2 RAP...I AGREE,THE RAPPERS WITH NAMES SHOULD HAVE A COALITION OR UNION..I TRIED THAT BUT WE AIN'T BEEN NETWORKIN'..I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE PAID THEIR DUES..FROM THE STREET 2 THE MUSIC THING BUT THE PEOPLE WITH MONEY WANT 2 SEE SOME UNITY...

The bay area radio is the hardest to appear on in the nation. If we could get more air time, more would listen, more would buy bay cds. That gets the attention of shit like other stations and networks to pick your shit up. If the bay gets on the bay's radio, the bay will be poppin.

well for my personal point of view brandon is good people.if the paper work is not right and an label is not getting what there due audit the books you have that right and take them to court if your in the right.fuck a verbal promise or some shit when doing business its your job to get everything in ink.not to many people were mad at the cat when they were all over his nutz trying to get deals selling them selves like they were the next best thing and going to blow the fuck up and bayside would be so happy to have them.A distrabution company is not a shining knight on a horse looking to save your ass man there there to get your product in the stores and where ever you and your label made the noise at and had those regions ordering your product from them.if the demand is there then its the distrabution company job to supply. They are no means your 2nd label whos there to bail you out and make sure you make money.this is not to anybody inparticular.but being a man how can you even count on the next man making you promises and building dreams for you the old exspression goes IF YOU WANT IT DONE RIGHT YOU HAVE TO DO IT YOURSELF.I know running a company is hard work and if your not the fuckin ceo your not making the full decisions and can only give your input. As myself being far up in a fortune 500 company alot of people always place the blame on me when shit goes bad because i was the one they delt with. But if your not the fuckin ceo or a major board member your word cant be bond cuz there will always be someone higher to veto your ass.Maybe im not going anywhere with this shit but I think you can only be a great business if your dealing with a great business. If your the one reaching out for the help you should be greatfull that somebody reached out there hand and helped you..its like your drowning and somebody is there to help you but you get mad at the person cuz it took to long for them to rescue you...well bottom line in my sole opinion brandon is a good guy who gave alot of people chances and when they dropped the ball only a great artist/label would take it on there shoulders and say its my fault. But name 1 label/artist to ever say that people need to get past there pride and suck it up and realize when you fail its on you.I know if my name was on something i would bust my ass to make sure it was the best product out there and not rely on somebody else bailing me out of my poor choices.A fan will never be mad at a dist. company for putting out a weak album only the label/artist.If im wrong baysides biggest album ever from urban was a 3rd rate r&b singer rome who sold over 150k i think now what does that say for all those rap albums that they put out from the bay and everybody else.If you dont like what i said oh well the only reason must mean you feel like that person..sorry so long and boring but its what i felt.

yeah tay, that was just an example, but like you said, alot of ballers and shit used to have alot to do with the game, i used to be part of that era, when you could have 3-4 feature artist come thru drop some bread they drop they verses everyone happy.... what im sayin is, them ballers done got locked up, or str8 took they hustle elsewhere cuz they could make more money in the dope game..... but what im sayin is, i think we took advantage of t he rap game, used it more as a hustle then puttin in actual effort doin somethin you love..... i mean do you love rap all together, or you just doin it cuz someone said you had flow, and could make some money???? i think alot of cats think they can make a fast buck, and thats why were as flooded with material now.... i mean cd pressing is as cheap as ever, graphics are easy to get done and cheap, and throwin a lil studio together cost nothin..... the sad part is, its only gonna get worse, more and more people are gettin in....... so the real need to seperate from the fake.... right now, nobody can tell t he differance which is why all of our sales are suffering to some extent.... all im saying is mafuccaz need to be open minded bout shit and to an extent almost regroup and start all over and just make good muzic, keep spreading ya name and hope things get better, at the same time be a part of the success and not the problem..... we all come up with too many excuses.... whats done is done, it cant be played bacc again..... trust me tay, i been fucced myself twice, but i got too much love for what i do, i just keep on goin..... and hope things take off!!!

I don't agree with a lot of the shit B12 says or does, but few people have looked out for me the way he has and I'll have his back regardless because of it..

But his personality aside..

There's few people who can do what he's done or IS doing. "Little people always talk shit" is my saying and it applies here..

I'm pulling down the ADI board from the Siccness for one reason. After all the shit talking ended, people took sides and now I'm taking mine..
