if it werent for 12 the bay wouldnt be as connected as it is today. Any cd ever put out on Bayrider Records was a classic. i havent heard a whack B-12 verse but yet people on here always seem to disagree. all i know is the shit talking needs to stop. I'm not callin out any names i'm just bringing up the positive in this rapper cause I'm tired of hearin the negative.

like he said

Frisco legends, well connected. 4-1-5 well respected, well protected strap on the side of me. - and thats real talk, especially when talkin about 12.

As far as B-12 being a rapper, I never heard it...

As far as people talkin down on B-12, they seem to be upset for business reasons, not musically.

So to be fair, I cant speak on him. Neither can 98% of the board. But best of luck for whatever hes doin, and best of luck to all the folks mad at him. Everyone can bumble regardless.

Bein' @ Bayside.. he had the worst job you could ever want.

All the other folks that made the money decisions and signed the checks were able to go home at the end of the day without any inconveniences or bullshit... he on the other hand juggled relationships and tried to keep things calm with the artists and labels who werent bein' paid becuz of Erik Grotte.
from a label standpoint.. things were 110% better when he was at Bayside becuz I knew he'd stay on top of accounting until they finally handled my paperwork. He's been gone from there for maybe 4 months or a lil longer and it's been hell tryin to get paid from them catz now w/o him lookin into shit. People have their own perceptions of other people for various reasons, but my perception is a respectful one as I've known and dealt with him for 8 years or so.

I THINK HE & GAYSIDE LET THEIR HEADS GET 2 BIG..THEY OPENED UP DOORS 4 SOME PEOPLE BUT ALSO CLOSED A FEW..IT'S NOT HARD 2 GET THE WHOLE BAY AREA 2 FUCC WITH YOU WHEN THE STREETS ARE STARVIN LIKE THEY ARE..& THEY TOLD A LOT OF LIES 2 A LOT OF PEOPLE..I'M STILL LAUGHING AT THE 300K REMARK...THEY TOLD A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT SO THEY COULD LOOK LIKE THEY WERE DOING SOMETHING BIG...BASICALLY THEY STRIPPED THE SOUL FROM THIS AREA..LIKE I SAID ASK THESE LABELS THAT DEALT WITH THEM IF THEY ARE HAPPY///I KNOW QUITE A FEW PEOPLE WHO CAN'T EVEN GET THEIR CALLS ANSWERED...I KNOW MY LIFE WAS PRETTY COOL UNTIL I WALKED INTO THAT BUILDING..I GOT MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT B-12..I THINK HE SHOULD JUST BE BRANDON INSTEAD OF TRYING 2 BE BAYRIDER,ETC.....NOT HATIN ON FRISCO CUZ I'M AFFILIATED WITH PLENTY FOLKS OUT THERE BUT HE SHOWED FAVORITISM & THERE ARE NOT AS MANY HOT ARTISTS OUT THERE ANYMORE...THE ONES THAT ARE STILL DO THEIR THANG & KNOW WHO THEY ARE...THEY ARE PART OF THE REASON THE MARKET GOT SO OVERFLOODED..THEY SHOULD HAVE INVESTED INTO THE PEOPLE & LABELS THAT WERE HOT INSTEAD OF SELLING EVERYBODY DREAMS & ALSO THEY SHOULD HAVE DEALT WITH MORE ARTISTS DIRECTLY INSTEAD OF DOIN THE NEIGHBORHOOD BALLER THING..I REALLY THOUGHT THEY WERE FUCCIN WITH THE FEDS OR SOMETHING BUT MAYBE ALL THE DOSIA I USED 2 SMOKE HAD ME PARANOID..THE MEETINGS I HAD WERE REAL WEIRD THOUGH

cHeWdoGG/ I agree with you that hating needs to stop. My beef w/B isn't hating. It's some personal shit that he and I have had for a while. We did let things get out of hand here. It never should have went down that way.
Anyways, as far as him being a Bay Area Legend I have to STRONGLY disagree.
A legend is E-40, Cougnut, Dru Down, Jay King, Walter Zelnick, Peter Albin, Rob Nonies (I have to give props where props are due),Daraka, Mac Mall, 11/5 ( I gotta give props where props where they are due), RBL, JT The Bigga Figga.
I know I've left a lot of deserving cats out but this is to give an idea of my point of view.
Brandon has done a lot. But, the bad outweighs the good by an astronomical amount.
I feel that a lot of this comes from his lack of maturity. (Like I really showed mine last week!) He believes a lot of the hype about him. It's easy to do, believe me.

He'll come to his career maturity in about 5 years. He has a lot to learn.
So, for any cats to call what I said last week "hating" has no idea about our history. Deep waters!
I still believe that if he and I put our heads together we could have done a lot of good for the west coast independent scene.
We will never work together. THAT'S A FACT!
I still wish him luck. He has a good head on his shoulders, he just has priorities all mixed up.

FROM THE BEGINNING FRISCO NIGGAS BEEN PUTTIN IN WORK.WE ALWAYS DROOPIN SHIT,IT AINT ARE FAULT SOME CATS LIKE RECYCLYING SONGS,ALBUM COVERS AND PUTTIN OUT THE SAME SONGS ON DIFFRENT COMPILATIONS.I ALWAYS STAYED CONSISTENT.I NEVER USED BAYSIDE ON THE STRENTGH EVERYBODY WAS GOIN THERE AND I SEEN AND KNEW WHAT WAS GO END UP HAPPENING.EVERYBODY RAN OVER THERE WHEN THEY WAS GIVIN OUT BREAD AND NIGGAS COULD GET ADS,POSTERS,FLYERS ETC ON CHARGEBACKS AND WHEN A NIGGA SHIT DIDNT SALE THEY DIDNT RECOUP THE MONEY AND THE CHECK AINT AS FAT AS U THOUGHT NIGGAS GET TO GETTIN MAD.FROM THE BEGINNING I BEEN MY OWN EXECUTIVE PRODUCER,ORDERED MY OWN CDS,RAN MY OWN ADS,TAKE MY SHIT TO THE STORES,ETC.IF NIGGAS TAKE CONTROL OF THERE OWN DESTINY IT SHOULDNT BE NO PROBLEM.CAUSE NIGGAS IN THE GAME IS SHADY AND WILL SALE A NIGGA A DREAM JUST TO GET OVER.FRISCO NIGGAS WAS ONE OF THE FIRST TO HAVE DEALS IN THE BAY.ON MY HANDS I CAN COUNT HOW MANY DEALS THE BAY AREA HAVE.RIGHT NOW THE BAY AINT WINNING CAUSE NIGGAS DONT NETWORK ENOUGH,NIGGAS WANNA CHARGE THOUSANDS WHEN THE CD SALES ARE DECLINING,NIGGAS DONT INVITE NIGGAS TO SHOWS TO NETWORK,ALOT OF SHIT.I FEEL ALL THE HOT BAY AREA ARTISTS SHOULD BE A COALITION,BUT NIGGAS DO THERE OWN THANG.DONT FORGET FRISCO NIGGAS RIGHT NOW BEEN PUTTIN IN THE MOST WORK FOR THE BAY.(JUST MY OPINON)

First off: Right on for the support from everyone who got love.

As far as some of the other shit, I wont speak on it. But I will say this...Am I legend, no. Have I done my part. Yes. I appreciate being a part of the Bay Area movement and have had the great fortune to work with so many artists I grew up on and artists that are coming out now that I think will shock the world. What alot of people dont realize is that without the artist no executive would be popular. Would you have ever heard of T from AWOL if it werent for C-Bo? How bout Franky J from Ragtop? Or Dogday without 11/5? The answers are no. But it is true that without good direction and leadership, a succesful artist is just an unknown artist with no deal and no money.

About FRISCO though, I will...FRISCO is pioneers in this rap shit. Before E-40 had a deal at Jive before Priority started swooping up everyone...Cougnut, RBL Posse, Cellski, Cold World, Rappin' 4Tay and JT The Bigga Figga were making the way for ALL other Bay Area cities to get in the door. Who was MASTER P fucking with back in the day? Cellski, Herm, RBL etc. He even showed love when he went major by having Cellski, 11/5, JT, and others on all his shit.

I may not like everything that comes out of my city but thats true with any region. To say FRISCO is weak is like a blatant hater comment. Along with Oakland, Vallejo and Sac...FRISCO is the only part of Nor Cal to exceed sales of 3 million copies of their artists. Instead of always bringing up the recycling and stuff, bring up that fact that Done Deal and Inner City are releasing all brand new shit that people are waiting for.

Peace.
