^ he has a really good point noway could a non blockbuster team be in the NBA finals
the dubs have the entire bay area market to themselves, the only reason they aren't a "big market" team, is because they don't win. the spurs are hardly a ratings grabber, yet they've won multiple titles recently. his point was stupid and is easily countered.

if dr jerry buss owned the warriors, you would have some rings already. success for teams starts at the top. you need an owner that will invest in the team the right way and expect to win a championship every year. there's a reason we don't hang wcf banners in the staples center. they don't mean shit to our owner.

Warriors owner sucks and its a fucking shame dood who owns Oracle didn't buy them.

when we were in the playoffs most recently we set california attendance records, not nor cal, but the entire state. if we built a team and had a star player we would get more media coverage and recognition, look at cleveland when they had lebron. nobody cared about the cavs, but they wanted to see lebron so the cavs were on tv all the time. now that he's gone noones gonna care about the cavs ever again. Baron Davis was a face for our franchise at the time. right now who we got, stephen curry & monta ellis? I mean, c'mon, they're raw players but they ain't gonna sell no sneakers.

but after all that being said, I'm still a Laker's fan as well. I'll root for the dubs over the lakers all day, but it's nothing like being in LA watching the Lakers play even on TV. Say what you want about bandwagon fans, but the Lakers are LA's pride & joy. Clippers tickets are sold at gas stations tho.

LOS ANGELES -- Kobe Bryant is back at 100 percent. If you believe him.
Immediately after the Los Angeles Lakers' 107-83 win over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, Bryant told a FOX Sports West reporter during an interview shown on the Staples Center video board that he is all the way back from offseason surgery to his right knee and didn't want to be asked about it again.

Bryant was later asked if his statement was accurate by reporters in the locker room and he stood by it.
"Yes, so leave me the hell alone about my [expletive] knee," Bryant said.
Lakers coach Phil Jackson saw it another way.
"I'm pleased with the progress of Kobe, it looks like his offense is coming along," Jackson said after Bryant scored 20 points on efficient 8 of 16 shooting. "Defensively he is still working on some things that he has to get done with his strength and base.
"He's not 100 percent, but that's nice of him to say it."
Bryant did not care for Jackson's assessment.
"I'm 100 percent, I don't give a [expletive] what he says," Bryant said with a laugh. "Leave me alone about my knee. I'm fine."
